Been visiting your blog almost daily. Very good one btw :rolleyes:

AFAIC , recently i did saw several vids on the net showing also aircraft of the DPRKAF and i saw ( other than the MiG-29s and Su-25s) a nose and some footage with J-6, some Il-28s or H-5s ,and what appears to be either a Mig-15UTI or maybe JJ-5 carrying bombs (at least i had the impression it was a twinseater) ! Guess we can’t tell when that footage was actually filmed though (think the whole movie was occasioned by recent military drills , last year)

Doubt the Russian Air Force will accept any “E” (export) radars . Most likely they have been modified. So my guess it’s either Zhuk-M or M2.

No it’s the Izdeliye 170-1 ( i think) which is the domestic version of the RVV-SD.

I was reading on a “yankee” forum that aparently the hook mechanism for the F-35C was made by a dutch company, Fokker Landing Gears or something like that ? Is this true ? And does this meen they DESIGNED the hook mechanism , or that LM designed the whole thing , but just contracted these Fokker folks to built it ?

I’m pretty sure it’s N-001V for SM , and N-001VP for SM3.

Thanks Spudman. If i may , besides the F-22 (and probably sometime in the future F-35) , are there any MAWS or similar systems used on US services fighters or ground attack aircraft at the moment? ( F-15 , F-16 , F-18, A-10 etc- excluding helos or transports).

Any DIRCM systems operational on said airframes too ? I know they were testing some systems , what’s the status now?
