Making alegations against the dead has always bugged me,I am not saying he did not do anything and that he was a normal guy so to speak.
But why now after he is in the grave?, After all in the last 30 or 40 years nobody did anything at all including some very famous faces who he worked with him. One of whom was very high profile in setting up child support phoneline, I find that more unsettling than anything he may of done.

Doing a TV show about this is just sensationalism to me and the dead should be allowed peace if a case was never brought to a court of law during their lifetime.
Selling dirt on the dead does not feel right at all, serve justice while they are alive or let it go.

Its over 3 years old and has really been well used, I have had a quote of around £150 to have repaired and will do so around Christmas time.
In the meantime I have a new toy a 650D.

I must admit I am very miffed on this one, I always felt the Comet returning to the skies for this show was going to be a huge task. I accepted it was possible the comet would not be ready to go.
What has upset me is that both the RE8 and Albatros were advertised for this event, and on this news I have booked a day off work losing a days pay in the process to be there. I was not able to make the uncovered show so really was looking forward to seeing them at this show.

I will still go as its a lovely place on a fine autumn day, and I do understand that sometimes aircraft do not attend, I have done shows all my life but I do feel we have been a bit conned here.

Agreed. Saying that, a shadow can work well in a photo, but not really in this instance methinks.

Where it could be effective, is at memorial wall with the shadow pointing at a name.

Thanks for the advice and comments everyone, The photos was literally a chance shot nothing posed.
It has given me the idea that whenever the sun comes out again to try again but posed, just need the sun now so it may not be this year 😀

Sadly I do not think that arming the police will help at all, Crime statistics in countries where arms are carried by police do not differ much from ours at all. The taser is a far better tool for police in most cases as at least the person its used on can live to face justice.

This b8stard would of killed these two officers no matter what they were walking blindlly into his trap and I doubt anything would of helped them. This is what makes it even sadder the evil coward held all the cards so to speak.
I feel such a crime should lead to him hanging as should all mass killers and police killers, child killers etc. Justice needs to change to fit the crime, I know people runaway from the idea of the death penalty, but we give more rights to the criminal than the victim these days.

Personally I felt uneasy seeing so many police around London area with guns over the Olympics and Paralympics, It took away from the friendly face police generally have
As I understand that within a few minutes an armed response car can be on scene, I still feel this is the best way.

Shoreham on Saturday this year was very impressive, and seeing her take of at Kemble(2011) and Farnborough(2008,2012) seen her 8(since her rebirth) times now and hope top see her a few more times before she retires.
Her landing this year to the crowds applause at Farnborough was a treat to the ears and eyes too

Good to see the Staggerwing got there. I spent 4 years of my life rebuilding that plane and its great to see it flying around the world.

She is lovely, Can never be too many Staggerwings.

Great photos…is that a Cooper Monaco in photo #4?
Also, I love the D-type. A few years back I was leaving Duxford and came across on near the roundabout. Yes, probably a replica, but even they are very expensive.

I’d love to take one of my old cars to the revival, but shipping costs seem to be rising.

Not sure if its a Monaco as I lost the programme unfortunately.
I have always wanted to see a real D type in the flesh and several were said to be real at Goodwood. Seen replicas a few times, seeing a C type at speed too was great.
