from the carpark at the museum you could see A10 and Hercules movement all day, looking at google maps recon there is a nice spot at the end of DM runway if you go right and first left out of the museum to watch. When we were there i guess around 15 A10’s came back around 17.30 in dribs and drabs for half an hour, it may be worth a look
Here are a few from the Museum at Pima
Is the nose art new on the Wildcat?
Do we have an ETA at Cosford?
Why not Frankie?
You could be right on the C97 was thinking at first B50 put you can just make out a curve where its been cut above the wing. The first pic has got me as the canopy looks Skyraider but the tubular frame?
The following day we drove down to the sister in laws at Queen Creek just south east of Phoenix, so while the wife and sister in law caught up i took a 30 min drive to Mesa and went to the Arizona Wing of the Confederate Air Force Museum

thanks for the tip but we are back home in the UK now but ill keep it in mind for the next trip, we did go south of Phoenix after the Canyon which ill post later but just for now a few outdoor shots with a what is it for the 4 engine wing, looks like B29 derived. Any one know?
A few days later we drove up to the Grand Canyon, the road took us right outside the front door of Planes of Fame East, as can be seen this has more of a feel for aircraft in use rather than a museum as there were drip trays every where (which isnt a bad thing). These are from inside, outside is more of a store
