Slightly off topic but thought if you were a member of the BBMF supporters club there was also a members day do in a similar way to the LLA? Probably got it wrong though
Kev will not nor can he roll the vulcan as it could affect his day job flying tourists around. He said it at the VTS memb day in February. (Unless of course there was special dispensation and you were one of the few invited for the final flight which he didn’t say)
The last last flight will not be announced till after its done so as to keep the crowds away and anyone in the know will have an invite but sworn to secrecy. There is no where to put anyone except Old Bawtry Road, thats my guess anyway
I think and may be wrong but when flypast magazine first came out ( when it was good) you could find adverts in the classifed of engine sounds on tape for about 75p. The catania was one possibly. Perhaps there is a gap in the market???
Think its sad to see these on here. (Especially as not got money to buy them and double to Insure them). Let’s hope they go to a new and careful owner and thank AA for going as long as they have
