Ask Tony.
Matt
If it’s for Nev’s JP, we gave Tony more than enough red paint for her, which had been mixed to the correct BS spec for us, so please ask him for it. He collected it from us in person a few months back.
The white has no BS spec as far as I know.
Call it what you like!
Call it whatever you like, you had a smile on your face like a kid at Christmass!!!
Mike’s new swing?
I love Jon’s pic of Mike playing on his new swing. Santa came early this year!!
But seriously, a great day out at Brunty, and always a pleasure to meet up with these guys. A job well done, with smiles all around, and sorted quickly as well.
Mind you, Jon didn’t look so happy when they drove off without him!! I guess Mike was in a hurry to get his new toy home, or was it something he said?
And Howard, speaking for the Leicester lads, we are always up for helping a good cause.
Merry Christmass to everyone out there in Aviation Preservation Land, and here’s to another great year in 2010.
Ok, I have a better idea!!
OK
I have a better idea!! Let’s re-creat the photo using Bill, Howard and Ken!! Wonder who would get the most hit’s? my cash is on Bill!!!
Wet sponge anyone?
Howard
What do you recon to us re enacting that photo at Cockpitfest 2010, and selling wet sponges at £1.00 a go? Just to give the aircraft a wash of course!!! And all in the name of charity!!!!
We will be searching your car before you leave!
John
We will be doing the car parking, and since we know your face, we will be searching your car before you leave!!!! Didnt you have a small child with a giant back pack with you last time!!!!!
See you there,
Ritch and Max
Bump!
Hi all
Just wanted to bump this thread as a reminder that it is only a week away, hope we see some of you there.
Be nice to us!!!
Hi Guys
If you see two sad cold looking individuals in yellow jackets, trying to get everyone neatly parked up, please be understanding, it will no doubt be us!!!
Andy assures me that there will be no snow this time, so we won’t have to dig the shed out before you guys arrive!!!
Say hi to us and let us know who you are.
Ritch and Max.
I didn’t like to ask!!
Hi Martin
I didnt like to ask, as we are already asking a lot from you, I thought it better to spread it around a bit!! Anyway, you are supposed to be at work!!
Not exactly!!!
Hi Mike
No, not exactly!!! Lets just say that Cockpitfest 2009 recharged our enthusiasm, and we have a new project in mind, inspired by Martin and with his help!!!
All will (eventualy) become clear!!!!! and when it does, you might be able to help us!!
More information regarding the incident.
More information regarding the incident.
I understand the Sea Vixen lost her Stbd outboard main landing gear door in the coming together. But, suspect the car came off worst!!!! I also understand it was the aircraft that was moving (under tow), not the car!!!!!!!
A altercation with an Aston Martin!
I heared on the grapevine that the Sea Vixen has had a coming together with an Aston Martin car!
Was there much damage? I bet the car came off worst!!!
Was the car bombing along up the taxiway as usual? we had a few interesting moments ourselves over the years with boy racers.
If it’s in one piece, that’s a good start!
Hi Dave
If it’s in one piece, then it’s better than what we have now!!! and any other bits (the knurled nut sounds a great start!!), you know we have a good home for them.
Incidentaly, she is now in the lockup near our home next to the one you visited, and is coming on in leaps and bounds. Max spends hours curled up inside the cockpit, and I will be attaching the rear fuselage very soon.
Best wishes,
Ritch Blood.
Sound a fair deal.
Hi Dave
That sounds like a very fair deal. Would you like a photo of the overhead panel Max has?, and could you send Max a photo of the windscreen you have to swap please.
Best wishes,
Ritch Blood.
