Actually, and similarly to that of the j-10,
the article says that the “A” will be the true production model and
actual production rollout scheduled for 2006.

In fact, the FC-1s we see today are said
to be prototypes built specifically for both Pakistan’s and the
Chinese Airforces flight evaluation purposes.

These changes were said to be recommendations made
by clients of the FC-1, which Pakistan and China were mentioned.
Gestures had also been given that other buyers are also involved although
the names of these country(ies) remains a mystery as always.

I believe the new and more powerfull WS-13 will be its
power source because it was also said that the plane’s new max will be 1350 MPH
bringing it closer to MACH 2.0 if my calculation is correct.
