That’s why I call the J-10 “Slick-1”. 1 or one because, as it is
with the J-7 series, there will be other variations of the J-10 to follow.
And, the recently announced naval variety is one such example.

Now, while many here may be skeptical that the Chinese
may have the capability or the need to come up with a navalized version of the J-10,
we must however ask ourselves the following question:

If Hindusitan find a use to have the Teja navalized, then,
why is it so difficult for us to consider the logic behind the idea that the Chinese

A very healthy reaction my opinion.
As long as it’s not used as a tool to bash anything and
everything J-10, it’s fine with me.

In fact, and in my view, for all those who harbours
disgruntlements of the J-10: It is not neccessary for them to view the J-10 as
a horror machine from out of the world of Darth Vader!!!

In other words: Luke Skywalker,
too, have clones in China. Isaac Newton“s” also comes
in many shapes colors and sizes :)!!!!

Yes, Ace! Indeed, my posts are not the most exciting or
the most popular. However, what you must understand is that I’m not here to

Therefore readership counts don’t matter to me. Period.

Funny thing however, as boring as my posts are,
ironically, I think in fact I’m certain that someone here is unquestionably taking a
deep even personal interest in what I have to say.

I’m also pretty sure that this someone,

Deino, others,

J-13 is in the Chinese advertisement included
in the lower right hand corner of the PLAAF mag cover. My Babblefish also
tells me that the J-13 is a fighterbomber of sort.

It is also claimed that this plane is in the final stages of its development,
which means that it has to be cuurent. I doubt that they would be as stupid as to
revive a 60’s and 70’s era design given their J-10 and their FC-1, and when everyone else
in the world is going for 2010-2020 items. Old J-13s just don’t compute here.

My theory: How’s about an indiginously copied or licensed produced
Su-30 being assigned the designation J-13 just as how the licensed produced Su-27
was assigned the number J-11??? That would explain the openess of it.

Also, while I am a very skeptical person, I am however
open to all possibilities when it comes to what the Chinese may have
under their sleeves these days and so should everyone.

We must remember the saying: Money is the root to all evil!!!
In other words — they (Chinese) can definitely afford to be prejudicial about what
they drive these days and Mercede’s usually are their choices.

My 2 cents only of course.
