The F-35 can support the F-22 in this role. Each F-35 can carry 14 AAMs at IOC and 16+ after Blk 5. They also benefit from having a much lower RCS than the B-1R.

The only way that missile dodge would work is if:

1. It was an IR missile and the F-35 got it’s planed DIRCM

2. It was an radar missile and it was jammed by the the F-22, a nearby F-35, or the F-35 itself.

Which segment of the show did that appear? I would like to verify my thoughts.
