We have a BA 777 on the ground at NCL, aswell as a 747 and something else possibly a 767. Flights from Philidelpia, Dakar and Nassau.

Work today has been interesting to say the least!

Flybes have been delayed. I think SOU is closed completely a flight i was dealing with has just gone delayed even further!

    Easyjet AGP and BCN Cancelled.

This morning Air France was due to go out at 9am after been delayed since 6.20 but was then cancelled when the hold door wouldn’t close.

    KL957/958 KL961/962 Cancelled!

First nights address is all thats needed address wise.

As far as im aware for Esta there is a seven month grace period before the rules are properly introduced.

Be very wary when doing this! If you don’t turn up for both sectors outbound it isn’t uncommon for the airline to cancel your return. It makes no real sense, I know, but it does happen!

    Paul

Agreed! Its getting very common now! Have lost count of the amount of times ive had passengers turn up at my gate only to find they have been offloaded by the carrier for not been on there outbound flight.

Ah i assume you have just arrived at NCL this evening! Come in on the 963?

Those people work for the national Statistics office! Pain in the backside frankly! I was helping passengers from a cancelled flight retreive there bags in the Baggauge hall this afternoon they kept on coming up and asking them aswell, Pax were not amused to say in the lightest! There here normally once a month!

Ah the KLM crews are awesome to work with! I work with them most days! Allways got a smile on there face never to busy to stop and say hello! Some loverly cabin crew aswell!

4.30am! To make matters worse I had to be back at the airport for around 9 to go to MSP via AMS!

Like mentioned above, the airport was also dead. The two female staff on the desk in the baggage hall were just sat giggling and couldnt work the tannoy. People were going mad quite quickly! Apparently “the lorry broke down”, which, for an international airport at 4.30 in the morning seemed a rather tall story

I noticed Gate the other day. I always see the same dispatchers on easyJet flights, and ones that previously worked for Servisair are now at Gate (at least some, anyway). So will they have changed employer, or do they work for easyJet?

Ah i see! I was going to say if it had been any later the lads would have bee busy doing the outbounds.

As for Gate they have carried over some dispatchers from Servis Air, aswell as the easyjet check in staff, ramp lads and controllers. They all used to work for Servis Air they now work for Gate. There are some ex swissport dispatchers working for Gate covering the eastern flights i think there due to start training up on Easyjet soon.

I sat on Row 30A on my last trip on KLM A330 plenty of leg room to stretch out. May i suggest that you prebook your exit seat online as KLM have now stopped us getting access to the Exit rows at check in.

Pass them to Fedex, JET2 or another airline, don’t for gods sake scrap them.

Airframes were worn out Tommy. TOM used them heavily during there service. FEDEX at the moment are only after second hand 757s to replace the 727.

Rumours were rife last year and the year before that Jet2 were after 767’s but from what i can tell there looking for more 757s.
