Nothing better than a good looking A330! Love the BMI Rotation shot!

Having Viewed the EK A330 departing NCL a number of times i cant help but admire how gracefull they look as they rotate and soar away into the Skys. Infact they almost look like they are hovering at Rotation point.

Interesting thread im useing LHR, and AMS as a transit point in the next year so it will be interesting to see which will be the better. Having worked with Passengers who use both airports as a transit from NCL both airports appear to be just as popular for transits.

BA would never go long haul from any of the locals as it just pulls Revenue away from London. Thats why they have the LHR and LGW Shuttles to get passengers into the Main Hubs and onto Long Hual connections.

My dear Tommy would you care to enlighten us all as to what “Boy Racer” style is? Or have you passed your PPL and CPL trained for years and risen through the ranks of GSM to a 767?

Maybe GSM need to do what Jet2.com are doing for next summer and consolodate there routes and gradully build up there route network then go into long haul if as a company they have the confedence and the means to do it.

For example getting there 767s back from Air India, yes leasing them out was a good idea dont get me wrong it will have acted as a good source of income. Buy having there own aircraft with there own crew doing there routes they have a bit more of a chance of operating a good service and been taken for a ride by the leasers.

Whats wrong with the 737s? There perfect for small bases such as NCL infact we have had a 737 based at NCL all summer and it aint missed a beat. Its even operating to TFS.

They may just not have liked it. Other types must have suited there needs more closely at the time.

    Oh Jet2.com is Low cost.:diablo:

Great shot there Chris! Did you catch that this morning? The fog was getting bad when i left work at 9am.

Also do you have any idea who owns the Blue Tailed ATR that has been parked on the remote stands the last two days?

When I was in MAN last wedensday I arrived at 0730 and left about 1400. The whole day there were 3 LS 733s and 2 WW 733s just sitting there all day.

    Is it the same everyday?

Cant speak for other bases but the NCL LS 733s are flying the most doing routes that the 757 used to do in the summer, Krakow and Murcia for example. The 757 just does the Canaries runs. Saying that of late things have started to Quieten down a bit for Jet2.com
