    As you said we really need a few more C-17s our currant four are flying non stop at the moment.

    Doesnt matter flyjet wont be operating out of NCL for much longer. But i cant see the airport been that happy with them at the moment.

    And who made that bit up? Sure came to Leeds, but as to tech? Probably someone playing guessing games again to put another Jet2 dig in!

    Nope mate im going on proper infomation here no jet2 digs at all. I heard it was a genuine problem with the aircraft that they wanted to look at in Leeds.

    Infact Jet2 have impressed me out of NCL a few delays yes but what airline doesn’t have delays .

    747 came in at 11.50 just after id left the car park at work I seen it on finals. Later on I was telling a mate about it and it took off in the distance around 16.00 I think. Could have been some decents photos from NCL today, 747 two 737 bbj and the nice EuroAtlantic.

    I was told the other day its the Sheik of U.A.E who is in, Ive noticed his 737 in for last week or so. I had the job of escorting the crew member down to the aircraft, Had a good chat with the nice crew who was telling me shes origionaly from good old Whitley Bay but has worked for EK 8 years and got offered the job of the Shieks personal crew. Supposedly he has been on a tour of the U.K stopping for lunch in Hexham!

    Same with me Luke im off Sat so miss the EK, Probably the only time Ive wanted to work a sat lol.

    Dear god i know he owns half the shire round ere but lunch in hexham the poor chap!!

    Cheers mate, looks like its going to be an exciting fortnight, with the 747 today, 767 saturday, BBJ’s etc

    Yep, hope theres no delays and decent service for EK, after all its our first long haul scheduled service and we dont want to lose it.

    Yup same here. Theres a great set of staff from swissport doing the EK check in so there in safe hands. I was going to apply but i want more expericnce first. Hope to god the bag belts are good that day, they were a nightmare this morning.

    i think she is due in at 11am cant comfirm yet will let ya know later this week. Just pray to god gate 25 is clear of aircraft ready for it.

    The Euroatlantic 767 went tech down route.

    One of there 757s yesterday at NCL had to go to MAN to get fixed then be back at NCL. Passengers going off the roof yesterday in departures had to fight through them to get board another flight!

    definatly between 12 and 5 maybe closer to 2-4:30 lol exact time not sure wasn’t to aware i just knew i had less than 1/2 my shift left, hand around mate it’ll probs be back before the first emirates.

    I Didn’t tell you but there is ment to be a Fire Engine salute for the first Emirates Flight arrival?

    Yeh that and the rest of the pomp and ceramony. Swissport staff are training like mad to be ready. Pity Saturday is my day off!”

    Dan you have got to be kidding me!! The amount of trouble we had this morning with them damn belts was unreal gutted!!

    I belive there are some VIPS in all week for the EK opening on Saturday.

    Wish they would get it upto NCL ive been dealing with Flyjet pax all day.

    Great to see the 767 just missed her at work believe she has gone tech though some where.

    Also Tech from NCL today:

    1 tech flyjet 757 which is off to manchester to get fixed then back to NCL to fly to Egypt.

    1 Jet2 757 G-LSAA which arrived from Palma only to depart to Leeds to get something fixed.

    1 Tech Thomas Cook 757 with a broken emergancy exit slide.

    But on the bright side just think next week we will have a nice A330 in daily for EK.
