Most likely situation is them probably getting GSM’s 767-300s.
Very unlikely why would GSM sell perfectly good aircraft to there competition when they have a clear need for them on there own operations. They need to get there own 767s back from lease to replace them bad 757s they had.
i think they may get 747-400s.
For once Tommy you could be right.
I remeber hearing a while back they were looking at some old United 747-400s
At the moment its G-LSAA AND G-LSAC based at NCL as i told you last week.
Which ever 757 does the Palma run in the morning will be your 757 to TFS as the other 757 will be doing the Murcia run.
Bit of advice if you want a good seat get there nice and early Jet2 pax have a habit of checking in early to get all the good seats.
So i may see you tomorrow as i am working on the check ins at NCl and will most likely be on Jet2. Desks 11-15.
What about late built DC10’s such as ones built in late 80’s.
They are either scrap by now or flying for FEDEX and UPS, ATA, OMNI.
Love the BA 757.
07 is in use allot now my fave runway.
OK guys ive found a good spot about 3 miles from the airport on the B6323 Ponteland road. Theres a layby on the road that offers a pretty good view of aircraft on approach.
Parked up there on monday on the way to the airport to answer my phone got a nice look at a Jet2 757 landing, plus there is a loverly little snack van.
Some people do but this airbus causes that much fuss it gets annoying then again she is taking away god knows how much money.
Working on check in at NCL a bit of music would be nice especially when im checking in a certain leeds based airline to help relax me and the pax! then again for me it could be a distraction from my duties.
Nice to see some Tri holers at MAN wish we would get a visit from one at NCL. Love the DC-10 take off shot.
The TOG has most likely heard this rumour and just added it to his photo doesn’t really mean anything.
I wont belive it until i see one at Southend or Lasham in full Jet2 colours.
Routes wise i think they will get used on there exisiting holiday routes to start with TFS for example then slowly branch out into further afield. Let us not forget Jet2 are still pretty new at Passenger services so it would be wise for them not to jump into long haul the second they have Long Haul A/C.
Any Word on there 757s ETOPS rating. I belive G-LSAC is there only ETOPS rated aircraft at present.
You lucky son of a……….
Awesome shots there.
Fantastic the money express is back!!
Looking good mate. Did you catch the Royal Omani familys 738 that night stopped last night. She was parked remote this morning when i was airside.
Great shots mate love the TOM 757 in the last shot.
G-LSAI looking loverly as ever had the pleasure of working with her last week at NCL.
Most of the worlds MD-11’s are either hauling cargo flying for airlines and destined to be hauling cargo.
Makes no sense see as Jet2s 757 drivers are apparently on conversion courses to the 767.
Any chance of G-LSAB the 757 with the BA nose cone ?
Nope not at the moment we have
G-LSAA and GLSAC based with us at newcastle this week all be it G-LSAA had a tech problem on its way to Krakow this morning thus diverting into MAN causeing a delay for the Murcia then the Tenerife. That on top of NCL legendary bag belt system giving up on us half way through check in but the pax were very good about it today.
