A330 Jet2 in the same sentance!! Not a chance!!

Firstly them things are in huge demand at the moment.
Even an second hand one would cost an arm and a leg.

I think its time to knock this thread on its head and keep the speculation at a reasonable level. Yes the 767 rumour is gaining strength, Jet2 bosses have been at NCL several times of late so something is in the pipeline.

What is Newcastle Airport like regarding shops, terminal size, and general condition of airport.

    Ok at NCL we have.
    Landside:

    Whsmiths
    Starbucks
    Greggs.
    Whistle stop shop.
    Travel Ex
    and a small bar.

    Airside:

    Burger King.
    2 food courts.
    2 Bars.
    Whsmith and Whsmith books.
    Boots.
    Large Duty Free shop.
    Dixons.
    Internet facilites.
    Amusements.

Terminal size is good for what were handling at the moment. The location of starbucks is a pain to be honest can cause a bottle neck at times. You will be checking in for your flight in the domestic hall desks 11-15 served by a PSA like yours truely.

    Oh and your welcome.

Yes but are BA selling theres.

All the rumours about 767s and LS seem to point to Gulf Air.

As with most rumours though i wont belive it until i see it in Jet2 colours.

I am guessing JET2 might get Flyglobespan’s 767’s when they finish their Air India lease.

Nope seen as Globespan own those 767s and need them once there leased aircraft go back after the summer i see no reason to sell them to Jet2 who in the next year could i repeat could if the rumours are true be giving them a bit of competetion.

Ok at the moment at NCL we have

    G-LSAA and G-LSAI.

We have 3 airbridges at NCL at the moment one of them is purely used for BA we have a new airbridge on gate 25 for larger aircraft such as the A330 and 747 and another Bridge on gate 22.

You will most likely be coached out to the aircraft which will be parked remote.

Most likely incase the tonka had left anything on the runway during its landing. Airside ops would have the ranger out there sharpish looking for FOD. Also to let the fire crews to get onto the runway plus i think the runways switched yesterday afternoon any way.
