    Love the Finnair 757. She is based at NCL for the summer.

    Was a Thomson fly 757 in by any chance.

    I heard a catering truck put a hole in one last night.

    No this was definately a jet and was in the air for a good two hours from around 22:30 to 00:30 this morning. Quite a few neighbours and other people in East Leeds have commented about it too.

    Your sure it was not just aircraft landing and taking off as per normal.

    No, this is definately a jet. Sound like a 737-200 or something similar, roughly coming over every 5-10 minutes.

    Could just be in a holding pattern bit of night time training maybe.

    what xl airways 757 is being used at newcastle at the moment is it a finnair?

    I aint sure of the REG but i do know she has winglets.

    I’m guessing this is the normal pax one, as their other 757 is painted up in Jamiroquai colours for his tour, which I’d imagine will be in a VIP configuration.

    Cheers mate. Titan have just got there ETOPS licence i think you call it which allows them to fly world wide Great news for them.

    Talking of 757s i heard a rumour Jet2 are going to Base another 757 at NCL can any one confirm?

    Great shots mate. NCL is half interesting at the moment summer seasons kicking off 200 flights a day coming in so you could get the odd suprise.

    Whats Neptune Warrior? is that the Nato thing where they all meet up for a training etc.

    They meet up 3 times a year of scotland and just attack ships etc with loads of air assests later in the year they may do some amphip work etc. The Americans some times send a carrier to play.
