Ive seen airline been filmed at NCL before the cameras get in the way too much for the agents to do there jobs properly.
May i remind every one that when shows like airline are made, thousands of hours of filming is conducted then it is edited down. We cant base our opinons on him from a TV show.
Just because an aircraft is old dont mean it cant do a good job. Airliners now have a life time of some times 30 years plus. Jet2 are doing the best with what they can afford.
Next thing you know he will start flying as an F/O or buy himself a 747
NCL this year has had 30+ aircraft over night not bad for a little airport. Between the hours of 6 and 9 nearly all these aircraft leave the airport for there first rotations of the day so it gets quite crowded.
She is now in Los Angeles after meeting John Travoltas 707 in Orlando..
Here is a website i found which keeps you upto date with her trip:
How much longer is the C-17 line open?
I imagine that like the RAF, the RAAF will grow to like its new toys 😀 maybe some more C-17s in the future?
Like christ there about the only transports we have that work
Tristars: Are not copeing with the high work loads.
VC-10: Starting to waver now this old girls are showing there age.
The Rafs 4 C-17s are very busy at the moment with iraq and afganistan, provideing a much needed heavy lift capability. Hopefully we should have a 5th aircraft soon which will be a great help.
Thanks Phil.
The Jet2 didn’t land untill 18:30, 6 hours late.
Great shots mate.
Any idea for the delay??
haha, No never been over to wings any good?
they are starting to come in more regular the a319 now, think its because EZY have worked out how to manage there aircraft rotations more efficantly!
Threre was a long delay on the EZY565 on tuesday, so the 566 operated the inbound and returned to BRS as the 565, it was a BRS a319 (G-EZIH)
it departed at 10.25 with 54passengers, where as EZY567 (G-EZJG) departed at 10.20 bound for BRS with 71 passengers!Im thinking it may well have been easier to just operate the one aircraft…….could have saved a few quid!!
Aye Wings is alrite. Good food good beer just the die hard and i mean die hard spotters who hog the best seat by the window.
G-EZIX was in NCl yesterday due to an ‘aircraft change’ It was a STN based aircraft which operated a reverse rotation. It arrived in NCL as EZY517 and went back to STN as EZY516.
The EZY514 was operated by G-EZJI which stayed in STN and returned back as EZY519! hope that makes sence!! haha.
Cheers dude.
Do you ever go over to wings i was in there having some lunch and when that a139 came in christ the hardcore spotters started whooping and cheering with that i downed my pint and got outta there!!
Very bland. It is the ex G-FJEC, isn’t it?
It is indeed mate. Good to see it operating now seen as it cost flyjet something like 2 million pounds when she was sitting round doing nothing.
AN-74 YL-KSA arrived yesterday http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=550889
Cheers dude any idea what she was in for??
Aren’t some of the STN flights operated by A319? EZY517 and 518 were operated by G-EZIX.
Also had EZY8001 position in early this morning from LTN, G-EZJH and 8004 depart as EZJT around midday I think. Not sure what was happening with those two.
Not that im aware of mate.
I dont thing the 319 did a domestic flight as she parked away from the main stands when they were empty. All domestic traffic into ncl parks on the left hand side of the gateway.
and here is some information from another forum as to when she is leaving
Thursday is a layday.
Friday is departure Southend to Dublin.
Depart Dublin Saturday possibly to Orlando or Tampa to meetup with Travolta’s 707.
Montrial has very poor weather forecast
Seattleno longer scheduled.
Pago instead of Nadi due to a coup.
Final destinations depend on noise restrictions, ground handling, performance
However that said this has also been posted: Southend-dublin-tenerife-orlando-washington-seattle
Take your pick but it looks like Friday will be the last chance to get your pics.
