Community could be governed by fairly small number of Admin civil serpants !

No it couldn’t. Not with any sensible degree of control or consistency, anyhow.

To go off on a tangent somewhat, you do know that self-serving bureaucracy isn’t restricted to the EU, or even to the public sector in general?

    Don’t you?

I don’t think he’s paying very much attention to what anyone else has to say, Moggy. 😎

For the record, I’m going to buy another SKS here in a few weeks. I hope those of you on the other side of the pond aren’t too disappointed that your arguments haven’t changed my thought process. I promise to only shoot terrorist cardboard and zombie targets. 🙂

It’s your own money, so how you choose to spend it is your own business.

Why do you think that strangers thousands of miles away care what you buy?

An experiment in cause and effect.

Let’s roll a pair of dice to simulate the annual rate of a given crime – let’s say burglary.

If the rate gets into double figures then the community is outraged and
demands that something be done to reduce it.

Every time this happens, I’ll say “Abracadabra”.

    Let’s go…..

    4 9 7 9 9 5 11 (Oh no! Crime has skyrocketed! Abracadabra!!)
6(Phew! Got it back down.) 7 10 (Oh no! It wore off! Abracadabra!!)
    6 6 10 (Abracadabra!!)
    4 (Wow! reduced it 60%!) 7 8 etc etc.

Note that every time I said “Abracadabra” the burglary rate went down.

I now have irrefuitable proof that saying ‘Abracadabra’ will reduce the incidence of burglary.

I don’t blame the BBC for not telling me anything – I blame the BBC for telling me things I prefer not to hear.

    Fixed that for you.

Shall I send my invoice to the usual address? 😎

Grey that’s both terrifying and hilarious at the same time! I think an aircraft designed by a climatologist would be a balloon, because they deal with hot air on a regular basis and would require a large amount of it for their design to fly. I suspect that if aircraft designers used the same standards as GW believers then most test pilots would be victims of natural selection, and we’d still be crashing planes made of wood & canvas.

So, would that be a “yes” or a “no”?
