Personally though I do think this is a new type of hooliganism and rioting that we are experiencing now, which is fuelled by the very same networking sites that are giving us the 24hrs news.

All that is known for certain at this stage is that a soft-nosed bullet of a certain calibre was found embedded in a policeman’s radio.

This type of ammunition is not unique to police weapons, despite what some news media would apparently have us believe.

Further testing will be needed before any definite conclusions of the type you quote can be drawn.
