Very good point regarding the Data Protection Act Damien

As some of you may know, I do have some small expertise in this area.

Transferring a client database to a location outside Europe that does not itself have strong data protection legislation would, on the face of it, appear to be a clear breach of the 8th Data Protection Principle which says (to quote Schedule One of the Data Protection Act 1998 directly):

8. Personal data shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data.

Now, I dont pretend to have any kind of useful knowledge of Indian data protection legislation, but perhaps one of the Indian regulars on these Forums could tell us more?

No mention of the long series of wars in the Balkans and other such places west of the Urals all of which are in Europe the last time I looked.

Were these places part of the EU at the time of these wars?

Are all of them part of the EU now?

When was the last war between two EU (or EEC) members?

Short answer, Airline owner – “yes”.

Although the temperature is high, it’s pretty constant all the year round and rainfall and humidity are very low indeed As a result, the chances of environmental damage to the aircraft and their systems are slim indeed.

Or did you think that most airliner “parking lots” were in the desert by accident? 🙂

So as i ask before now with two major No’s wil this be the end of the EU as we see it right now?

And as before, Carzyman, the answer is “No” – remember, the French and Dutch people have voted against a change in the status quo.

The EU has existed for a number of years now without an overarching Constitution and there is no reason why it can’t continue to exist without one.

That’s what I was trying to say – but Damien put it much better.

Taxes, “Fees” and “Charges” are usually lumped together as a single item, wannabe. It’s very rare to see them itemised as individual charges.

The taxes per se remain the same, but the amount actually charged can vary as in the example above.
