    similarities:

    1. they both have wings
    2. they both have tails
    3. they are both jets
    4. they have landing gear with wheels
    5. they are both aircraft and both fly
    6. do we need to keep going on with the list……???! similarities are endless!

    😀 😀 😀 , i didnt read this, that was good

On some things there is no doubt such as the Space Shuttle and the Tu-160.

ohhh, nooo there are similar requirements , so sometimes the designers teams reach to the same desing, nothing more, look the huge quantity of delta-canards, dont be paranoid

sferrin say that the proyect used the A5 as foxbat basepoint

Mikoyan allegedly returned from the 1959 Paris Airshow and told someone to sketch a new layout similar to the Vigilante

what you say is only a comparation, not that the foxbat or even foxbat intakes were based in the A5

aerospacetech so the mig 23 is a f4 copy because it use the similar intakes, the “general layout” is veeeeery general, so the f15 is a copy of the mig 25 because also have a “general layout”, yeah sure….

again all proyects analyse other proyects, but it dont mean that is a copy

You’d have to ask Mikoyan.. . .but I guess he’s dead.

      ……

where are the similarities between the a5 and mig25????, hell even the americans studied the mig25 for the fx program, but it dont mean that the f15 is a foxbat copy

so here we go again with such stupid miths, the su27 is a copy of the f15, the tu144 of the concord, the tu160 of thr b1….and the mig 29, they dont know if from the f15, or 14, or 18 , ahh and dont forget the classical j10 based in the lavi…

again the ignorants puritans nationalists that love to say “everbody try to copy us” tss…

the russians are selling aircrafts, not only spare parts, the problem is the new market, the nationalists think that the aircraft industry isnt a busisness, so they say things like, “uhh the government suck because the reduction of f22 or f35”

well, back to the topic, there are looots of pakfa threads, the true is that the russian dont have their pakfa, but the true is also that the cold was isnt anymore here

so its a bussisness, the problem is how to design a product cheap, practical and compatible with the market

now none have the money to spend in a 300 million machine -specialy one that is veeery overated-, the f35 and f22 airframe numbers are falling, the last russians declarations of the definition of a simpler and less complicated design are a good sign

is probable -only probable- that the russian industry could be in a better position than the european or the US, because these two last were compromised from the start with a specific airframe

but we must wait and see, again it isnt a “national pride” competition, is about how to make money

    😀 😀 😀 😀 cool sarcasm….

seriously, please dont start again with that “evil and stupid communists copying the western wonders”

well, well, well, whatever you want man…

look this is endless, i mean again, and again, and again, im not a fan, you can believe what you want, no problem man, i respect you position, i have posted my arguments, im tired with this.

SOC,sferin you guys could have the last word, i really dont care….

    good bye

    again with that SOC????, learn the lesson;

    a12 chined nose- no fins
    f12 cilindrical nose-fins
    sr71 chined nose-no fins

then you say that the sr71 have the same layout of the f12,but when the f12 was a stealth concept???

again you see only detalis, with that way of thinking i also could say that the mig27 is an stealth plane -but in this case isnt about directional problems-…..

    sferin, again….

man i explain you with chined nose you avoid lateral component of the sw, is the same problem with the 2 seat BB, you create other lateral forces, you must understand that a side force in the nose has big momentum, because the nose in looooong

the problem is that you think that aerodesign is to put stabilizators for everything, thats ridicoulus, why to put stabilizators when you can avoid those problems with a better nose design???, dont be ridicoulus.

You’re merely restating what you and Over-G have said but you have not explained HOW the chines are suppose to “reduce the value of the side force

read again my explanation, man, isnt my fault if you dont have enough neurons in your brain…..

nooo, SOC, i only try to be more objetive, because you know, some machines or inventions just become in national simbols, but the people dont understand at least a little percentage of how works and in which pysichs laws are based, i have read some books of that kind, and i know that there are fantastic tales about the performance, and how are advanced, etc… also the “steath” word have become in a fashion, and that sells

now isnt a problem for me if you want to believe in such books, i already show you some contradictions about how stealth is the f12-sr71 or the a12, now if you dont want to believe my arguments, isnt my problem, but i have always read in this forum some arguments that arent real, and again are based in these books, but i respect all the opinions

So now you know more than a guy with a PhD in aeronautical engineering?

no i dont know more than an AE, but those books are veeeery biased

in the BB chines are an aerodynamic feature not stealth, again you only see details, the AIAA books are commercial books, its a joke, not???, this is the book???…
