thanks SOC, but which plane do you think that would be more practical? the 108 or the f12?

the worlds tech evolution would be diferent with the f12-108 service introduction??

    any M3 french design?

the true about the Apaches is that those machines are helicopters, any helis is an vulnerable machine, so im not surprised if in fact was downed by woods and stones..the problem is that some guys think that an heli that cost 30millions isnt an heli

interesting aerospace, the euros also designed special missiles to the proyect??, were tested??

conformal carriage was studied for the f12??, i mean, isnt very practical to bring only 3-4 missiles is such big plane??

ahhh, sens, man, im not like you, i mean, im not posting with 2-3 propaganda books in my hand, i know what is the diference between total planes deployed and planes in service in an determinated moment, im sure about the 700 f86 deployed in all the korean war, dont start with that “conspiration” theory, only based in an stupid mistake (the post deleted)

kfir vs mirage f1…..the kfir have better T/W, but maybe the f1 wing is more efficient, any opinion??

sorry, i think i deleted the post by mistake, anyway thats very clear that the max -soviet- combat planes were in mid 1953 (300 migs15) and only 72 planes in mid 1951, and at mid 1953 were 300 f86, 300 f84, im sure about the 700 f86 deployed, but i still dont remember where i read that.

During the war, the F-86 pilots had no reason to show the secrets of their F-86s to their enemies

great, so the f86 pilots were pretty cool guys…

    i also posted in that the mirage3 planes were better piloted by israel pilots and the mig 15 had better g limit (8gs) than the f86 (6-7gs) -but i really dont remember well-, the mig was an better plan in agility and ceiling-climb rate, to say that transonic speed is an real advantage is ridicuolus, now try to use your brain sens;

, an plane that have low climb, low ceiling, and the best point is the dive!!!, …

sens, man, keep searching, you will find that…

Even you have to admit it’s pretty unlikely

man, if you are lucky enough, you can down an helichoper :p with woods and stones, one friend told me (in an funny ironic way) “thats the alas hand” 😀 😀 (he isnt islamic, that was only a joke)

how those planes are compared with the mirage3???, any israel (kfir-mirage3)experience???

castor, i think that you are confused, look, at mid 1951 there were arround 70 soviets migs, at mid 1953 there were 300 planes (not very active in combat, because the war was “stabiliced” at that time), at 1953 there were 300 f84s and 300 f86s, the usaf depolyed in korea arround 700 f86

the f4 wasnt the plane asignated for air superiority???

sens, i know that you are an very, very biased poster, so anyway, the f86 had better performance at instantaneus turn at sea level, the mig 15 was better at low-medium-high level-speeds in inst-sustained turn, better climb, better ceiling, etc…, transonic speeds for those planes is like high supersonic speeds in modern planes, dont be ridiculous…

there are other propaganda ways like those “technic” and “objetive” books with fairy tales about how good are these or those planes etc….its funny how the iranian claims were so easely accepted only because they fly f14s and f4s.

about the apaches , well all the helicopters are machines with an very vulnerable nature, but we always will see some fans saying “impossible, the ah64 is an modern wonder” etc…

well, the controls are better than the f4 , and dont forget the extra lift of the fuselage and the high wing configuration (without fuselage turbulence-interference over wings) the wing isnt soo thicker, but yes is an fighter optimised for speed and heigh, obviusly not an f16

i think that Typhoon is an better supersonic machine, and thats very relationated for interceptor BVR performance, the Rafale is better in dogfights and attack missions, but i have not studied bot planes enough, so thats only an personal opinion

the Rafale engines have an higher bypass than the typhoon powerplants?

any 4th generation machine designed by canada???

well, firebar, the 25s have an better fuselage sustentation, better controls tails designed for better momentum, not those f4 flats inward the fuselage-with fuselage turbulence that reduce the flow pressure and inclinated flats that disperse the force, the wing have better aspect ratio, and other design characteristcs, also the T/W difference is huge, the foxbat isnt good at low level (due the sharped fixed leading edges), but at medium-high level is better.
