IIRC,it was pulled because PeeDee used a five-letter word concerning a gentleman’s ( ahem ) trouser area.
To quote the old actress /bishop line,I noticed it as soon as it came up.
( I had an awful job to use the comma key then. It seems there’s a crumb of chocolate stuck under it. Oh,the WASTE ! )

So when you say, what happened to her, that really means you don’t want to know what happened to her ?
I thought it was only we women who thought like that :diablo:
Is it a wet afternoon where you are too ?
There’s a psychic fair at our local theatre next weekend. I’d love to see a sign saying that it had been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Not sure whether you mean a member of the forum who’s disappeared, but if you mean the psychic, she’s still going :
Brian Conley used to do a lovely take-off of her, called Septic Peg.

Or are there plain (non-ring) types?
No,in a word. If you plough through this
http://www.baking911.com/bread/bagels.htm
it’s because the dough is dense and the hole means the bagel cooks better.
I find them doughy and much too filling. Give me Ryvita with sesame seeds any day.

Scott you know my daughter’s your age ?
When she was 18 her Dad’s old aunt died and left her a little bit of money. It said in the Will she wasn’t to have it until she was 21 ( I don’t think the aunt trusted Vic’s boyfriend at the time not to try to get his hands on it ),but the solicitor said it would be OK for her to have it.
She’d already passed her driving test,so there was enough for a car,and she spent the rest on travel.
Leaving her elderly Mum behind :diablo: she went to Australia, the USA and Canada, and says it was absolutely the best thing she’s ever done.
Travelling is so expensive,so what better way to see the world than to get a job that pays you to do it ? And do it now, because before you know it you’ll be festooned around with a wife, children, mortgage, pets and so on which means you’ll have to stay put for a very long time.
One question though, how are you with sea-sickness ?

I’m not looking for sympathy.
You very rudely asked whether I did anything for my father,so I told you.

What a lot of “hate” and anger in various threads over the weekend. How can you “hate” a comic?:(
You’re right, there does seem to be a lot of bad feeling around at the moment.
Could it be something to do with the weather ? When my daughter was at playschool, the owner told me that the weather had a definite effect on the children, and the worst of all was windy weather.
Well,it’s been blowing a gale here on and off for four days, and I’m in a really bad mood.
Though that might be because I had to go to a funeral today of a friend two years younger than me 🙁

You obviously have taken my post as a personal criticism, when it isn’t.
I’m merely pointing out that people who have to use disability scooters are disadvantaged enough already, without being forced into mainstream traffic.
As for saying that you wouldn’t use one yourself,I rather think you might see it differently if a mobility scooter was a means of keeping you out of a care home.
Your remark that I’ve quoted is both rude and unnecessary, but to answer it,I’m an only child and for many years I’ve done as much as I could for both my parents, thank you.
I’ve coped with my Mum being slowly crippled by a neurological disease for over forty years. In fact during the past year I’ve had to deal with prolonged periods in hospital for both parents, the emotional burden on both of them of Mum being admitted to a nursing home and Dad being left living alone, and Mum’s decline into severe dementia.
In other words, don’t take that tone with me.
