Actually, sad old bat that I am,I find this quite an interesting topic.

Is it funny ? Well I suppose yes it is, in the way that it’s somehow comical to witness someone else in mild,non-threatening distress.I’ve certainly done my share of laughing at fat women falling over on You’ve Been Framed.

What interests me is why the person who put it on YouTube thought it necessary to put in the title that it was a fat kid. Why do that ? Would it not have been funny if it was an average-sized kid ? Is there something intrinsically funny about fat people ?

Before anyone thinks I’m taking a personal interest here,I’d like to point out that I’m not a two-ton-Tessie myself, and anyone who’s overweight should try hard to get thinner.
I just think that fat people, and fat women in particular, have a really hard time.
Is it just me who thinks this ?

Being a non-driver all cars are dead boring, but when I was a kid my Dad had a Messerschmidt bubble car like this one,and I loved it.
Dad used to say you didn’t drive it,you wore it like a coat.
I can still remember being in it and looking up at the wheels of a bus.

Look what else they’ll have to endure – when the tunnelling gets near them they’ll have to work round the clock shifting the rock that falls, and one of the poor devils is as old as me !!
What an awful existence for them.

Talking to an old boy who lives in my Mum’s care home, who was complaining that he was bored being stuck in front of the TV all day.
I offered to get him some magazines to read, and when I asked what sort he’d like,he asked for ” Women’s ones – the kind that’s just pictures !! ” with a wink and a leer.
    He’s 88 years old.
    I’ll never understand men.

Yes indeed,it’s hard to imagine what they’re going through while we go about our daily lives.
May every one of them be returned safely to their loved ones.

Llamas don’t seem to have a voice, except for one which was making a low murmuring sound.I said to my daughter it sounded like a pigeon cooing,to which she replied,
” You’re an idiot Mum.That’s two doves having sex in the roof.”

There are reindeer there as well.
