I gave up eating this sort of stuff after one of those fish things had me talking to God on the big white telephone for three and a half out of the four days we had in Sydney. It certainly seems to be addictive though. There are times when only a cheeseburger will do,I find.
Daughter can’t survive without pizza, but I suppose that’s bad for you too.

I wouldn’t agree that a questioning Christian isn’t a true Christian. Presumably when God gave us a brain He intended us to use it.

BB – the answer, for a Christian, surely is that “it is God’s will”, isn’t it? Isn’t that the Christian’s way of dealing with so-called divine interventions?
Yes supposedly, but that doesn’t stop you questioning it,or being tormented by the subject of the cause of suffering – basically, ” why bad things happen to good people “.

Evolved free will, maybe!
Trying to have a sensible conversation with Christians makes me realise the frustration Galileo must have felt when he tried to convince the Roman Inquisition that the Earth wasn’t the centre of the Universe…
So you’ve never had a single sensible conversation with a Chrisian ? I’ve had similar experiences with Catholics, Baptists, you name it,and atheists as well. This is one topic that always raises high feelings, and I’d ask again , why ? If I believe and you don’t, what’s the big deal ?
