The general trend seems to be that Pakistani military training has traditionally focused on individual skills (e.g. pilots have excellent flying skills), but tactical training, & knowledge of the enemy & his capabilities & tactics, has been poor. In the case of India, the Pakistani military has tended to be arrogant, dismissive of Indian capabilities, & therefore prone to sometimes catastrophic under-estimation of the opposition.

j31 would be good when chinese engine come in. f35 is too slow and expensive but j31 can give stealth ability, super cruise for cheaper.

First of all, lets not blow this completly out of proportion. You think 1/3 defence budget is a huge investment for a new AF? Well think again, its not. Look at several of the F-35A importer AF.. man its like 3 times the defence budget. Anyway, what else are Serbia gonna use it on.. their Navy? 🙂

Seriously Bacon, Its a onetime investment for the fly away price, after that is all about maintaining such small AF, with Flight sims, and limited flighthours etc, its not the worst case scenario..

if budget is 250 million
serbia can buy 6 jf17. jf17 is only 15 million! so that is 90 million
so there is 160 million left. also jf17 should cost half much as mig29 to operate because its only one engine.
there is no more navy in serbia just air force and army so if split half half then air force budget has 35 million left. army budget is not touch so everyone is happy.
