The B17 at Croydon was I belive obtained from Israel. Any one interested in the film should track down a copy of the book Everything but the flak.

There was a really good turn out today, several hundred people made the effort.

    Good luck with the move.

BTW. I’m just down the road from you in Whyteleafe.

I have just heard this very sad news indeed, a great loss to the worldwide Warbird community.

It was a great privledge to witness Howard display’s on several occasions, Wildcat at DX, Bearcat at Reno and a ISS Fury at Breckenridge. Howard would often display to Music from Phantom of the Opera which he loved 🙂

    RIP Howard

    She’s going outside?????!!!!!!

Great help to the restoration team……

I agree, surely a space can be found next to the Shackleton in the short term. I would hate to see all the hard work (must be almost 15-20 years) undertaken by the volunteers be undone over two or three winters.

Great to see it back in the air, how many years had it been on static display.

That’s great news, all we need now is series two to be commissioned.

BTW, its was great to see the former airline Dak display at DX recently.

If we can’t have June how about Tessie.

But if Roobard was to be the sole driver it can only be Custard.

MH434 was thoroughly overhauled by ARCO around ten years ago.

I was surprised to read that X4650 has a few parts from the RAF Museum Mk1 K9942.
