Hi GASML,
I seem to remember the aircraft appearing on the front cover of the BAPC journal control column, I’ll try to find the issue later tonight.

Just a few more for now although I will post further shots after fathers day duties are undertaken!

Very nice, love the slow shutter speed work.

Cracking piccies.
Shame about the imitation White Wall tyres !
The white walls appeared when Bud Anderson flew the aircraft a couple of years back. Bud’s original 51 B had white walls.

Peklein, Have you had a look through the superb After the Battle book ‘Market Garden’ Then and now by Karel Margry. PS Two volumes.
There was also an issue of After The Battle Magazine on Market Garden.

Very Nice 558, Thanks for posting,
Who was flying Old Crow, from the photos it doesn’t look like Anders Saether.

Thanks Sea Fury fan, as far as the light goes Dunsfold is pretty good. I haven’t checked but I guess the display line was on running East to West Line. Perhaps Melvyn can clarify the line of the runway.

Thanks Anna, Darren.
You missed a damm fine show.
As far as the Hurricane shot goes, I’ve not cropped it that much, Nick Grey and the MK IV was just in the right place at the right time. Here’s the original. Plus another un cropped shot with the Hurri coming from the opposite direction

[QUOTE=Melvyn Hiscock]That is a shame but hopefully it is also an indication of the numbers we got through the gate!
Melvyn, do you know how many attended yet. As far as getting out was concerned, I was parked the among the old straw bales that led up to Military aircraft park, on leaving I was initially directed to a five car wide stream of traffic that eventually became a single stream, hence the congestion, and then to compound the problem the people who were directing traffic suddenly disappeared.

Thanks Niall,
Or should I say thanks to Nick Grey in the TFC Hurricane for putting on a such a spirited display in the Mk IV.

Thanks Triumph1.
I thought it was given the codes on the fuselage, but didn’t know for certain. So was this its debut event.

Thanks Mike,
I really enjoyed the day at Dunsfold, although getting out proved rather difficult.
Do you know if the Bucker Bestman is the Glenn Lacey aircraft. It was also good to see Aces High out and about again.

Niiiiiiice…. prefer the Napier Railton though
Thanks Rlangham, although the Railton was imaculately presented at Dunsfold, the Bentley driver had the balls to let the Napier Lion off its leash.

A few more.

A few more from a great of what I hope will be many events at Dunsfold, including one of a well known TV presenter.
