Anybody know which a/c was involved?.
24 posts on a thread relating to the Shorts SD3-30, and nobody has mentioned the classic Heathrow ATC exchange:
ATC: TWA??? give way to the Shorts330 ahead
TWA???: That’s an aeroplane?. Thought that was a choc!!!
Nothing at all from my sources
I’ve no idea what the intention is with Air Scandic after the end of this season. Anyone any idea what flying they have done in previous winters, if any. I seem to recall that these A300 have been stored at Helsinki when not used.
Maybe there is a plan to re-equip (Remember the proposed DC-10 acquisition?). Suspect that we will have to wait until nearer the end of this season before confirmed details re the future are known.
Due to leave the fleet at the end of the Summer 04 season.
Using TFABA and TFABP

Hope you don’t mind Ren………….
I’ve heard the same info from a completely independant source outside of this list. However, I’m also led to believe that there is a little more info to come, and I’m awaiting full confirmation before I publish anything.
The ex Buzz Boeing B733’s leave the fleet at the end of the year. This is due to Ryanair being unsuccessful in gaining more favourable lease deals for them.
Seems that they missed a lease payment on one of their a/c, and as a result it was impounded. All sorted out now I believe
This was due to be delivered to Gatwick late yesterday (19th). Anyone know if this actually happened?.

Now I’m no expert in such matters, but if you enlarge the picture and take a look at the starboard wing trailing edge between the engines, I would expect to see much clearer definition.
Just a thought.
