    There is infact both a lower and Upper Dicker in Sussex no idea why called that and C@ckermouth in Cumbria often brings a smile or two when mentioned no pun intended.

    I don’t think you need to apply PC spelling to Cockermouth which suffered appallingly in the 2009 floods and must have been on the front page of the national press for weeks.

    How about Great Snoring and Great Slaughter?
