pheonix nights and max and paddy were superb !!! , however live and after max and paddy he’s been dire the only giggle in that brittainns got the x factor etc was two up two down ( the able boddied and dissabled singers )

i live round the corner from him only had one encounter he was shouting and cursing at kids because they took his picture on a mobile phone as he was going into a local restraunt at the end of my sisters street

so not someone i’d particularly like to meet

I agree and I think he’s probably better at sitcom than stand up.

Hi Andy

I sympathise with all you’ve said but will you possibly consider an amendment to your original post by removing the words “council estate” and leaving leaving it as “empty student dorm” ?

As it stands your post appears to be hurting some members’ feelings (not mine).;)

You may find someone objects to that phrase as well.;)

The problem with a lot of cyclists I think is they expect to be able to use the roads like a car which just doesn’t make sense to me. When the white van “cut him up” he looked like he as way out in the road where he just shouldn’t have been, so really it’s his own fault. It isn’t even a case of whether or not as a cyclist I have the right to be somewhere on a road or not, it’s the fact that I’m a guy on a bike weighing next to nothing and road vehicles generally weigh between 1 and 40 tons, it’s basic logic not to get too cocky about it!

PeeDee, sure there are some idiot cyclists out there but don’t let that get in the way of the fact there are plenty of idiot drivers as well. :rolleyes:

I would extend that by saying that the majority of motorists and cyclists are fair to good and there is a minority of each who should not even be on the roads.

Never seen that one before. Utterly brilliant – I like the ideas of Mussolini’s lederhosen ending up in Derby and line about the Luftwaffe.:D:D

Yes, in a way you are right. Can’t speak for others but I meant that he was underrated “publicly” unlike the Becks and Claptons of the fraternity. Publicly I reckon he was remembered for |Thin Lizzy and “Parisian Walkways”, which hardly does justice to his talent.

I saw this and just thought – you know what you are getting into when you fly cheapo, don’t you? However much it is criticised it is extremely successful because it subscribes to the golden rule of a successful business by providing the market with something it wants. If it didn’t it would go out of business.
