Indeed. Which is why, sadly, I think your hopes are pie in the sky…but we can all dream I suppose. I have always believed in a benevolent dictatorship, myself.:) Although I accept that that phrase is an oxymoron.:)

Well, certainly pumping more money in would achieve precisely nothing. Look how much it has had for the last 10 years or so.

But since no politician, that I am aware of, has the guts to really reform the NHS, it will struggle from bad to worse, I expect. Look at the last proposed reforms which were quickly sunk without trace.
