I think you’ll find that if you take your foot off the brakes from time to time they’ll last a bit longer – just a suggestion – works for me – thats when I can find the car !!!

Bite the bullet and get an SLR like a Canon or a Nikon – Nikon is my choice but neither would dissapoint.

Nothing I can say or add here except to say that the world was a better place for Steve having been here – I hope and know that all of you in the UK will provide the support to his wife and child at this time – the sadness and emptyness they must be feeling – rally round guys especially for the young bloke – I am sure Steve would like to think that his youngster was still doing the things he would have done with him.

I can still remember legends a couple of weeks ago when Carolyn and I were walking the flight line at Dux when out of the huge throng came the cry “Setter get you hands off the Beaufighter ” followed by a warm welcome and a great chat – We had a great time talking later at the Red Lion and I will remember him with the greatest affection – A true legend.

I am just so sorry……………………

Hi James on another matter concerning the international movement of rare and endangered aircraft I have just returned from the UK with a vital NA product which was entrusted to me by some people who I met at an airshow who said you were their friend and took me to a pub and fed me beer and gave me the aircraft and said you would be very pleased.

Here in Aus there will be a Saturday followed I believe by a Sunday and thence a monday – aint progress grand – I shall however be 12,000 miles away suspending time and reality at a far off galaxy called Leg Ends or something similar

I heard a terrible story that the considerable remains were scrapped again with just a few representative parts left – not a great or sucessful aircraft but like the ark one or two should survive surely to remind us of the breed.

Now whose got the guts to start albermarle to the sky

Two things

1) A lot of the parts of these Beaus were ex Australian

2) I am good Australian criminal stock decended from many generations of Scotts used to stealing from Pommies so nothing will stop me from stealing “our” aircraft back – All in good fun of course well give em back in the fullness of time……………………………..

Snap!!!

I have seen at least 15 in various stages – you and I know there are no real secrets and in any case whats the secret all about – It’s just an aircraft – world peace isn’t troubled by pics of it and I don’t pass them on in any case – their business I agree completely but there is a lot of interest.

Anyway

Thanks to you it will fly again soon so thanks ………………..That to me is the real point.
