i think you will find it’s a Buffalo – the radome is the real giveaway

i could be wrong but I have been in and around caribous a lot and it looks more like the Buffalo to me – I can’t say I ever saw a caribou with a radome.

    Hi Guys

You have no idea how many Seafire pics are circulating – if they are serious about that they needed to stop this a few years ago as there are many older ones out there already.

You aren’t that far from Old Warden at least in Australian terms – less than an hour – that would fill in any sunday in my book!!!

    Hi Guys

    Back to leg ends

You will all be shocked to learn that even I was granted admission in past years and they are going to sell me one this year.

As for the Germans – You lot tried banning them 60 odd years ago but they came anyway so I don’t think they will ever get the message.

    Hi

Don’t give up on the card just yet there will be some professional geek in the UK who can download the damaged file and cut the good bits. I am sure someone on here or similar sites can help out- Robbo should know someone in the UK that can help out – just don’t experiment with the card till an expert has a look at it.

As to what went wrong – well

    1) Was the card inserted properly
    2) did you operate the video properly
    3) Is the camera faulty with another card or just this one
    4) Is the card faulty in another camera (don’t check this till you have the card recovered of your data)

Tell me the answers and I can narrow it down for you.

    Hi all

Iv’e spoken to people – lots of rich people – Australian people – and we are buying OW and having it shipped to Australia – We can run it better and cheaper down here and the workmanship will be first class but not as good as the UK naturally.

    Hi

The G59 here is a great airshow performer and very popular – there was a report a while back that it had been sold but obviously a little premature. It is in a psudo Italian camo scheme at present and looks the part even if a bit of licence has been taken with it – you can see various pics of it on my webshots account if you like.

I have seen a horrendous clip of a US Harrier rotating sideways as the pilot ejected into the side of a hanger – one of the worst accidents i could imagine. I think the attrition rate is allied to the nature of the aircrafts functions and as such you would expect it to have more issues than a less functional/more conventional design ?

    Hi Melve

You know what an honour it is you propose and I shall be there …………….

On the subject of Australian wines….as a former vineyard owner I would have to say that there are some pretty crap Australian wines to this very day – don’t worry we send em all to California !! The good ones we drink but only to excess !! and well we send some good to better your way on occasion. The problem is that after a bit of sucess now every available bit of dirt here has vines stuffed into it.

I am currently practicising my slagging and coffee technique and my coffee swilling and shall be in great voice with rapier witt or was that F**k Witt on the day

    Kindest regards

    Hi Dave

Well this is cheating cause it’s mostly natural metal – I believe a hell of a lot of restoration/polishing was done to it – but I think it’s original as far as markings go etc.

one chap did try to repaint a bit of it with a jar of paint he threw at it in protest but i don’t think that counts !!
