    Hi all

Beautiful – Last time one was running was at Wanaka when the original one that is now in the Allen collection “accidentially “got airborne on the runway there.

I suppose they had the spares from the others in the hanger but as has been said to get this back together in such a short time is just fantastic. Come on Australian collectors – please buy one !!!!

    Hi Mike

Yes very very sad – what are they trying to prove with it – they can stay upset longer than anybody else?

Even if it had have gone to Point Cook with their very small budget it would have been of display for the past 30 years!!!!!

    Look you lot

Now as if MY identity crisis isn’t bad enough I will have to start prescribing G&Ts again to get over you lot playing fast and free with identity fraud – no wonder the internet is choked with thieves and crooks –

I’m off to the Bottle shop (Off licence to you lot!) and when I slide into alchol poisioning it is all your fault – Melv the coments are directed to you , MOTF – Nick they also apply to you about Gilberts and as to your identity fraud – I am a visual person – I believe what I see not what I read so @&#65907 fix your Avatar or I will be presenting you with a Gnome shortly!!!

    Hi

Well in an ideal world there would be a proper process observed at government level for the appropriate disposition of aircraft types from service to preservation/conservation including a position on airworthy preservation and spares packaging where appropriate. This position would also involve communication and joint Governance with Private and Public elements of the preservation industry as well as interjurisdictional liason to avoid SALT etc issues.

The Governance process would be overseen by a board with representative from the major stakeholder groupings.

This is of course how it should be done by professionals – It will however continue to be not done in accordance with the current Jethro Tull “thick as a brick” system.

    Well Melvyn

My wife and I spent most of Christmas pissed as Newts because I was under the mistaken belief that I was supporting some P61 Restorations by a pommie Gin Distiller – Imagine how I feel – I have sacrificed the Parker family livers based upon a sham!!!!

Have you gotten all the Macfurggen Cordwanggles fettled on the Clobbermiester yet – Can’t have SP ploughing the countryside by aircraft – it will have to fly eventually you know.

PS I believe the containers are now about to head to the US from a Mr Samuel Gilbert of Brighton UK – any thoughts on who he is – nothing on Companies Register in the UK or with US registeries I looked at ……?

I will keep digging and I think the owner will have to “break cover” when they front up in the US

I have said this before and I will say it once more . The internet is pervasive and normal rules of copyright and ownership have far less effect in the internet domains.

If I steal your coprighted material and post it on the net who do you prosecute and how do you prove it was me and how do you stop it. The answer is you can’t and unless I was very stupid and admitted to it you probably have very little chance of getting at me to say nothing of which jurisdiction do you try to mount the action against me. I’m afraid this is a Giant Gene out of the box and people getting heated with each other doesn’t make it go away.

So please lets not continue to think we can control the world or the internet and leaving the forums does nothing as all forums have the very same issue – no matter where you go on the internet NOTHING is sacred and nothing is protected

YOU POST IT ANYWHERE AND IT’S GONE AND THATS IT – IT CAN’T BE UNCORKED.

So everyone just understand the media you are dealing with and be Happy or don’t play – Don’t get upset with others it’s really not their fault.

    Kindest regards

    Hi all

    Couldn’t agree more Steve!!!!

As of this morning – I just did a web crawl for this clip – 203,192 results so far (Server hosted instances). It is now public property – a fact of life and even the yank power players can’t stop movie piracy with all their money. It doesn’t matter what I or anybody else thinks – it is out there and it won’t go away so lets just move on and forget it – at least now most people have seen it there is less chance of more trouble resulting from it for anybody – locking the thread just gives it further notieriety – leave it be

    Kindest regards

    Hi Anne

Well I agree with you completely but perhaps they could have thought through the Concorde thing before creating this mess in the first place – anyway I just hope the dust settles and they get on with it all

    Hi

As most of you know I went to EF twice in the last 18 months – a long way from Australia – mostly to look at the Beau – unsucessfully (Well I did get a peek when they weren’t looking) and I have been a very vocal critic of “Concordgate” in which a great Museum was converted into an aviation 3 ring Circus and a lot of truely commited workers were very disillusioned. However all of that has happened and it’s time to get on with it – great if the Beau is about to happen – the troops were certainly itching to start on her so I just wish them all the luck in the world. Perhaps they could offer to do the one in Canada – another disgrace – 38 years parked outside!!!!
