For me, seeing the Firefly at Flying Legends pass behind the tail of the B-25 parked up on the flight line and never reappearing, and having a miscarriage in October.

Hellaid 2, don’t know what grades you got, but I am sure you will be able to put them to good use some how. Ever heard of the sayings “when one door closes, another door opens”? Well maybe this means your working life will take a different direction to what you originally intended, but the new direction might turn out to be better than the original plan. Does that make sense? 🙂

Did anyone go? I would have done had I known about it before I drove past the Museum just as it was closing yesterday 🙁 And yes, that’s pretty unbelievable for someone who works at Duxford I know, but it would have been nice to be given advance notice by someone in the Museum, I would have enjoyed a good browse…

    Gripe over.

P.S. Nice avatar Sparky…I recognise it from the front cover of the “Duxford Diary” (the original that the Americans wrote in 1945) but cannot remember off the top of my head which squadron it is…but I bet it’s Twilight Tear’s squadron 😉

Lancman…nope! DV372 was written off in October 1945, and the cockpit section donated to the Museum in 1946…we have no idea what happened to the rest of the aircraft, although as Eddie says, I think we can guess! 🙁

Bruce…although the AirSpace page does not actually refer to this, the project is intended to showcase both British AND Commonwealth aviation…hence the inclusion of the Canuck.

The plan displayed only covers the area in which the static, restored aircraft will be displayed…as Glenn says, there is will be a substantial conservation area on one side of the Hanger…intended to include the Victor and the Shackleton…

    Hope this helps!

I have to ask…what on earth is pork butt??? Is it what us Brits might call pork mince? And please pardon my ignorance, but what is kosher salt?

I have to say either way, your recipe does sound nice 🙂

Rappens…you forgot to add “duh duh duh duh-duh duh-duh duh duh” at the end of your post…:p (I hope you will take this for what it is, a friendly joke, ok? :))

P.S. For those of you wondering what the “duh duh duh” bit is, it’s the Eastenders theme…:p
