[B]Crikey! I’ve only just realised they are absent on the real example! That’s a lovely photo btw, you are a jammy sod aren’t you!
So how come she aint got any bang bang holes in the wings mister? [B]
Maybe she will have holes in her leading edge once more one day, who knows. Jumping Jaques has been operated in civilian hands for over 40 years, I guess there wasn’t a need for gunports back then.
So that’s what Jumping Jaques would look like with gunports 😉
Seriously though they look very good, all I need to do is get IL2 now 😉

Has she been flown under Bob’s ownership yet? There doesn’t seem to be much staining behind the exhausts etc that you might expect.
Could have been cleaned, those exhaust stains do come off :p
Looks very much like the one that overturned on landing a few years ago (G-BHTH). It later passed to Northbrook College at Shoreham where it is currently for sale. It’s had some work carried out in it since the accident but is still very much a project.
They give the cost of being a friend, however I was always under the impresion that FOD and aircraft do not go well together 😀
oh, you’ve seen some of my cars then 😉
