Doesnt the same thing happen every year about this time?
GSM are now an award wining airline! (wining or winning?)
Thats what their website says as does an email I got from them earlier.
It really make you wonder who gives out these ”awards” after you have seen and heard about GSM.
Is it going to be a 738 vie KEF?
They flew DUB-YHM last year with a nonstop 752.
AC and TS operate nonstop DUB-YYZ and after GSM last summer I cant imagine to many Irish people flying with them next year.
Just in from work and saw 4 FR 73Hs sitting on remote stands.
When I was in MAN last wedensday I arrived at 0730 and left about 1400. The whole day there were 3 LS 733s and 2 WW 733s just sitting there all day.
Is it the same everyday?
FR always have 1-2 aircraft sitting spare in DUB some days Ive seen 3-4 parked on the old runway doing nothing.
Most if not all airlines will have crews on standby so I dont think its that amazing.
EI and RE are the same, they always have 1-2 aircraft sitting spare.
Thanks guys Im getting old now!
I believe the A319 in question had an engine failure after take-off from Heathrow on the 9th, Andrew may be able to confirm that.
There appears to be some bad damage on the left side with the engine misalligned!
Any ideas about how extensive the damage is?
Oh I also meant to sat great photos. Im heading to MAN for a few hours next week to have a look about. The flights were to cheap not to go!
Is the PIA a 300 or is it a funny angle?
Their onwards connections via HEL are amazing. They did quite well in DUB this year with 5 weekly A319 flights.
Not my favourite airline from a work point of view I must admit.
MAN-LCA certainly isnt a short haul route!
MAN should be offering EZY a good deal to maintain the MAN GB routes aswell as trying to get them to start SXF,MAD and some other important cities currently missing from the MAN route map.
Also from October 2008 BA are dropping their franchise with Loganair!
