This comes as quite a surprise.
This is the man who brought Aer Lingus back from the dead. He’s the man responsible for completley changing Aer Lingus. I think he’s a great choice and will do a great job.
I think the idea of changing LGW into a low cost base for BA will get him going.

Indeed it was a great race but I think Ferrari were impressive. Barrichello came from 11th to 2nd much more impressive than the McClarens so I think they will still be the ones to beat this year.
bmi dont have their entire fleet painted into the new colours so what are the chances of us actually seeing a 757 in bmi colours. Air France have 1 A330 that is/was in storage since it was delivered. Any chances of that?
BTW that looks fantastic.

Well with Schumacher starting 18th and the McClarens most likely starting between 7th and 10th I think it may just get interesting.
Ye you should enjoy the 762s as long as possible as I belive both UA and NZ will cease to operate these aircraft very shortly. NZ will actually retire their last 762 tomorrow so this seems to be the beginning of the end for the 762.

What an incredibly stupid idea. The 757 wont compare to the bmi A330 on long haul in terms of comfort and amenities. If they havnt got enough aircraft dont go off expanding on to new routes. They seem to be doing quite well in Manchester with the long haul services so I dont know what their hurry is to operate LHR services. I doubt they will get transatlantic rights from LHR any time soon so they may as well just concentrate on MAN. Its going to be a bit ridicolous if someone want to fly with them from ORD to BOM. They will have to travel ORD-MAN-LHR-BOM. I think Manchester has enough potential to act as a hub so I dont understand what they are up to.
