Wasnt it a bit stupid of Qantas operating feeder services from one hub a alliance partner to another ie LHR-MAN.
Would they not have been better opening LHR-BFS a route which BA pulled off but a Bae146 might be more suitable.of course it would have to be a codeshare with BA and it might have worked. But how many QF passengers would connect onto BFS.
Ryanair dont actually charge for wheelchairs. That man had to pay for a wheelchair which belonged to Stansted.Ryanair now have a tarriff on every ticket so all passengers cover the costs still not 100% ideal but when a wheelchair passenger turns up at the airport they dont get harged.
I dont want to start a fight here Ryanair versus Easyjet but there is definitley a bias towards easyjet here which I understand but lets not row over such a petty little topic.

Ye but its good when threads veer off course and we end up having a good dicussion. Most airports in Ireland are less than a few hundred miles within each other.Knock and Cork are rapidly developing asn so is Shannon but no so fast.HLX are also starting flight next year but at the moment SNN has extremely limited routes with mainly UK and Hahn and Charleoi by FR.

Both countries will have the rights to operate 40 flight a week from Winter 2005.

Limerick isnt a great city. Its quite small and is overrun by drugs and guns and you can almost be 100% that someone will be shot or stabbed every week.
Its nicknamed stabcity.
let me make it clear that I have absoululey no problem or anything against Shannon.I love every single bit of the country Im from.
However its obvious from and Irish point of view that Shannon doesnt reall have very much potential for development. Some routes will and some wont.
the Easy route will work but I dont think the CVT route will last too long not daily anyway.

Dont be so ridicolous Airline owner.I would expect that from any airline. Some people require guide dogs and no airline should dicrimate against any passenger with a disability or not.
Im sorry if you think easyjet are Godairlines but im sure both easyjet and Ryanair would but a towel on the flower just as long as they bought a seat for the dog 😀
