Great pictures.Ive been so busy I havnt had a spare mintue to go Spotting in Dublin but hopefully Ill have some DUB and STN pics for you guys on Tuesday as Im day-tripping to London.I missed the whole summer season so Im making a promise to myself to do more plane spotting.
The Air Berlin website doesnt give information on why their flights are delayed like easyjet and Ryanair.Air Berlin just says delayed.

When was this route announced? Because I didnt hear anything about it and to be honest I think AF should have given some more notice but anyway.
So does anyone know when it was officially announced?

This quote is taken form a book called Airlines of the world by Christopher Chant
”After reviewing its worldwide schedules in 1995,Qantas ended its London (Heathrow) to Manchester extension launched in August 1994 and expanded the Asian route network with a resumption of flights to China”
So I quess the aircraft were better utilised by not flying onto Manchester.
However as far as I know recently Qantas started flying LHR-MAN using Bae146s in order to keep their additional slots at LHR.The slots were presented to Qantas on a use them or lose them basis.
While im typing this Ive been looking at the Qantas website and the information Ive given is slightly out of date. Those slots are now being used to operate SYD-HKG-LHR 3 times a week and Perth-SIN-LHR 3 times a week.
I hope that helps.

Not a very pleasant expierence but the crew should have been able to come to some sort of comprmise.Big deal a bit of dog hair.It was a guide dog so it would have been clean and well looked after a beach towel should have done the job perfectly.

Thats an interesting question Humberside.Just quoting from airliner world and I know it mightnt be 100% accurate but it says-Under the revised agreement,
”A further 21 weekly frequencies have been made available”
Now the new frequenices are available on UK-India routes so I would imagine that it meens from any UK airport. It doesnt say anything about India-UK routes so I wouldnt be sure if new frequencies are available to Indian carriers.
However if they are Air India would have problems securing slots to operate 21 additional flights so maybe LGW would be an option or as it has been said MAN.
I hope that wasnt a load of mumo jumbo.

Anyone who wants to fly to SNN as one of their first routes is having a laugh. Why not try cities with more people like Cork.Shannon isnt even a real city just a small Industrial park.
Another rumour Ive heard recently is that Aer Arann will start Dublin-Inverness

Great pictures.Alitalia have also upgraded their Dublin to Rome flight from MD-80 to A319/A320 and so have Lufthansa A320/A321 instead of 733 and 735.
