Nah I flew BA recently both flights on a 737-500 and they were far from rickety. They made need a patch up in some places but compared to FR 737-200s or IB MD-80s there wonderful

I flew with them last year DUB-LHR-DUB on G-MIDK (A321) in both directions.
The service was good and it was BOB at that stage but to be honest I prefer having a choice!

Self service check in was only available if you had your credit card with you which I didnt.

Overall they were OK but on the DUB-LHR route Aer Lingus kill them mainly due to the frequency which they have on the route as well as easy check in at both airports.

But to put it simply I would fly them again if te price was right.

I nearly got hit by a tree on the way to the airport! I had to come straight back because I couldnt get a place to park for spotting because there was hundreds out.

I dropped my mam and dad to the the airport at 5am for an EI flight to BCN and luckily they got out. The wind was fine then just a flash of lightning.

Ye were are having it very bad EI and some other carriers diverting all over the place.

A quick look at the flight info shows EI flights cancelled to BRS, MAD, LHR, EDI, AMS, CDG,MXP, KRK,BUD.

The early flights coming back to DUB both EI and FR havnt even landed yet.

Aer Arann are the worst effected with ALL flights cancelled.

LG, BD also cancelled and all BE flights but strangely enough WOW flight is on the wat lol.

Its might be a good idea to contact some of the comapnys who work in the airport like Servisair who handle for Easyjet and a few other in LPL as far as Im aware.

There is an endless amount of jobs you could try many of which I didnt know exsisted until I started working there.

But arnt EZY restricted on how much expansion they can do from LGW now?
ORK,SNN and NOC were dropped and they morning slots were used for other routes straight away. I know the decision to drop the Irish routes was more to do with FR than LGW slots but I doubt EZY can gain sufficent morning slots to make a service to NCL attractive espeically to the business traveller.

Great news for BHX and bmibaby although I though they would launch some Eastern European routes.

I wonder has the BE/BACON merger and the talk of new routes from BHX given WW the kick start they need.
