LG carry alot of passengers MAN-LUX and its mainly to do with how well DL are doing on their JFK-DUB. Its always packed so everday they reroute about 12 passengers on the JFK-MAN flight and send them onwards with LG. Their schedule has changed for the winter making this possible.
Surprise surprise
TBH Im surprised DUB survived. The one time I flew that route the loads were dismal and any other time Ive seen that flight boarding or passengers getting off laods were far from great.
How can dropping NCL-LGW be a mistake? BA have been operating the route long enough to know if they can make money on it. Loads may have been good but yeild is whats important.
I can see LS picking this route up and having a good go at BA in the process.
I work for a handling agent and I have access to loads for flights we handle throughout our network.
Like today on the WW flight from ORk-BHX there was 98 passengers or on todays Luxair flight from DUB-MAN-LUX there was 23 passengers getting on in DUB and 12 getting on in MAN.
ye its true DUB has connections to Guernsey and Jersey via Southhampton and fares are stupidly expensive.

It must be going to India it was prob in DUB for maintenance or being painted.
I think is a mix of coincidence and the fact that they use the same aircraft on certain routes. For example EI only use the older A320s EI-CVA-D on the FRA route and others on other routes.
About time too BD seemed to always be going on about this route and finally it is made official by a different airline.
Weve had 2 here in DUB in the last week. We had a LH A320 whos main undercarraige doors wouldnt retract and then last night OK102 PRG-YYZ diverted due to an engine failure.
Thanks everybody I had a great day but back to work tommorow lol. I really love it lol.
I look forward to the year ahead and hopfully meeting some more of you on here. Anyone up for what seems to be becoming an annual DUB meet in Feb?
Thanks everybody and if the next year is half as good as the last 2 or 3 Ill be onto a real winner.
Sounds good but I would be a bit pesimistic about FRA due to slot restrictions espeically if FlyBe wanted business day orintated slots like early morning and late evening.
YYZ is not a place I would like to transfer through. We handle AC in work and some of the stories Ive heard about transiting via YYZ are awful not to mention that a huge amount of bags fail to transfer succesfully through there each day.
The current Ireland/Canada air agreement is as strict as the Ireland/US one.
EI are not allowed to fly to Toronto as thats for Canaidian airlines lice AC,TSC and 5G.
EI can operate to Montreal but obviously it isnt a priority. Im sure 2/3 weekyl flights to YVR would fill up as AC got alot of YVR connections into DUB this summer.
