Yup as Ill be working with every aingle charter carrier into DUB this summer (God help me) Ill give you the list.
MON A300-600
FCA 757-200 Rumour has it this will be the last year of FCA service to DUB as Eirjet have got alot of their contracts for next summer.
MYT A320 although at the moment some flights are being operated a 767
BY weekly charter to CUN
Other charter carriers this summer FUA, JKK, as well as Iberworld, Air Bulgaria, Balkan, Hemus, KM, Eurocypria and of course EirJet who will operate a huge bulk of the flights.
Those LTU flight are just making tech stops it would seem. No passengers get on or off.
LTU will most likely be back next winter with the weekly CPT charter. What a nightmare flight!!!
Domt forget the American 767s. This summer Skyservice wont be back but youll have the oppurtunity to see ZB A300-600, BY 767 and the odd VZ 767 aswell.
Not that they will be based but Thomson will operate a 1 weekly 767-300 from Dublin to Cancun.
They also seem to have alot of 757 flights from DUB this year.
For the next 2 weeks atleast the VZ/MYT flights are being operated by a 767 rather than the normal A320.
There is quite alot of Ryanair but there are more EI A320/321 based here.
FR fool you into thinking they have more aircarft based here because their rotations are quicker and more often.
Ryanair have increased their operation over the last year but go back to DUB on Aprl 3th when FR will have3/4 additional aircraft based and youll know what swampped is.
Summer 2006 began back at the end of March but you are right in saying that the summer charter schedules begin.
It will be great to see all the airports busy again with charters from all over the place and as a spotter I am ready.
As an employee of a company whos has just about every charter contract in DUB bar 1 Ill never be ready.
I dont know what word to use to explain it but mental comes to mind.
Roll on the summer woohoo.
Good news and the Jet2 train continues along.
How many aircraft now?
737 size. LOL no its going to be longer than the excisting one and wllt hen have 28L/R and 10L/R.
I dount FR will ever get their own low cost terminal.
Pier D is well underway and is expected to open next month. Its only temporary prefabs but it will ease some of the congestion in June/July and August.
Nice pics. Ypur lucky to see BT in day light hours. They operated a few additional flight over christmas. I see quite alot of them but by the time they arrive Im usually dreary eyed and waiting to run home to my bed 😀
I hope VZ have a good summer. They have just extended their handling contract with Servisair at most UK aiports.
We handle them in work here in DUB and in my opinion they are definitley up there with DP and ZB.
Ahhh well just as well I didint go and book any flight with them I would hve been left waiting for a Fokker 100 to arrive at the gate.
Nice shots. They switched to 16 a bit later and the shots would have been incredible bt I forgot my camera.
Just my look that Germanwings would send Lima November in on the flight after mine. Grrrr.
Nice collection nice to see some more Fokkers operating outside the continent.
Nice. Malev occasionally use the F70 into DUB so perhaps some chance would could see it in DUB.
Its really does look ice and I love the F100 and hope to get a ride on one shortly.
No they arnt PTVS they are advertisements for the Germanwings frequent flyer programme ”Boomerang”. Its a great idea and the name may sound a bit silly but its cool IMO. You throw a boomerang and it comes back to you. IE You fly Germanwings often enough and they will throw somthing back at you.
