I’m also suitably impressed that someone has taken the time to link onto some of the organisers sites.
Click on the red highlighted ones, within the calendar.(Especially 23rd September at Blyton!!! 😀 )

UPDATE.
Just had a rollicking from ‘er indoors, about not going to the LLA day this year,as she and the kids came last year and really enjoyed it,so it looks like I’ll be there after all.
So my 2 favourite passions will be in evidence on this particular weekend it seems.
Ken.
That could be very good news for me.
Well I don’t know if you remember, but Scunthorpe Motor Club, held a 2 day event at Blyton in September 2004,and I we had an appearance by the Lancaster, which went down extremely well.
So much so,that I felt compelled to make a 2nd request for this coming September, when once again we are holding a 2 day event, which is part of the British Autograss Series, held over 2 days.
I’m gutted that the Sunday is LLA day,as I won’t be able to make it,due to my commitment to the 2 day event, but as it’s not far away,I’m sure a diversion by the Lancaster,my personal favourite, could be made. 😉
Many thanks for the information.
Ken.
Very much appreciated Stormin.
2 dates that are specific to me,are Sat/Sun 23rd/24th September,at Blyton near Gainsborough.
And if a flypast has been granted, what aircraft will be in attendance.
Ken.
Quite coincidentally, the postman has just brought my LLA renewal for 2006. 😀
Yes I remember the dates being made public about March, but at the LLA members day last year,I got talking to one of the ground staff guides, and asked him as to when the people would find out if they were successful in getting an attendance by the Flight, and he said decisions are made sometime about late January/early February, and parties are informed very soon after that.
Maybe I’m just being impatient!!!!!
But I’m 99.9% certain that LLA members had the dates about now.
Ken.
They certainly do, she must fly a good amount of hours a year and she still looks as good.
And the Spitfire’s not bad either. 😉
Ken.
Just found this to go with it.
Ken.
Isn’t this the same shot that was in one of the daily newspapers last week?
Made me chuckle.
Ken.
Having only just got the historic aviation bug a couple of years ago,one of the first programmes I saw on tv,was that of Ray and 434,and the footage of Mark before his tragic accident. It was shows like this, that got me hooked.
How I envied the pair of them.
And now 2/3rds of the team have gone, and I’m sure that the loss will be felt most greatly at OFMC.
RIP Mr.Hanna.
The airshow scene will be poorer for your passing.
Ken.
I’ve just received my renewal notice for the association, but have lost my membership card.
Will I still be able to re-new?
Ken.
What a rivetting story.
Ken.
Even more beautiful.
I’ve got a tear in my eye after reading that.
Ken.
Beautiful.
Ken.
I’m sure there is a story to be told, but as I only got the information from the regional paper,I don’t know what the gentlemans background is.
Would be interesting though.
Ken.
I’ve just come back from my town centre, where we had representatives from various campaigns, including some well decorated veterans.
A very fitting tribute, where, despite the windy conditions, everything came to a standstill.
