Hi Salutewwii
Im also trying to complete a RCAF Mk1 Hurricane instrument panel but like you have found it hard to source photos etc.
Not sure if you have seen the below link from this forum but there is some good information and you will see the panel i have on post 2 and 4.

If you do source any cockpit photos can you please post them on this thread, cheers as this is ongoing for me also.
I hope this helps.
SimonR Thanks for bringing up this thread for some reason i have missed it in the past, some interesting purchases over the years.
My way of thinking also but i cant locate anywhere where this may of been located ignition harness etc.
The other larger relic appears to be some sort of Mounting bracket that has had its mounting bolt sheared of with the impact of the crash.
Thank you Skeeler

“Billy and the Fighter Boys”
I hadnt seen this before a very enjoyable watch showing Billy Drakes very lucky escape so like many others, sadly to many didnt make it home.
Hi CeBro
Would you no whether the Hastings chairs headrest was a part of the seats frame or would it of been clamped to the frame in some way? as ive also managed to get hold of one of these a few years back.
Didnt the Hastings chair have a headrest?
Hi Bananasplits
Yes we have been in touch in the past on other forums and i have also seen those two Typhoon grips that you own two of the best i have seen.
A bargain purchase in obtaining the 8090 that you have, certain grips are around but you have to be there at the right second, the Shoreham grip i have for the Typhoon literally came out onto the table as i passed i purchased it straight away and was amazed when i found what i had, this was in my early days of collecting.
Just a real shame that the aerojumble circuit is getting smaller and smaller, come on guys theres got to be someone who can get the Shoreham event or similar reborn.
Sorry about the slight side track from the thread.
Hi Rocketeer
I have to admit i will be keeping a hold of my grip of which was puchased at Shoreham aerojumble a few years back for a bargain £130. oh how i miss that aerojumble.
Hi Bananasplits
I recently managed to get hold of a Bakelite gun button for my grip by asking on another forums wanted list, a real shot in the dark that paid of.
I think i may of seen your grip in the past on possibly another thread, if its the one im thinking of then its an absolute gem.
Very nice relic typhoon/tempest control grip

A great collection of artefacts that certainly warrants the extremely low charge of £2 entry fee.
Not a problem for me personally, i normally visit 4 or 5 times a year and im only to happy to pay each visit,
Good luck for the 2018 season.
A great article and very well put together, thank you for sharing ErollC
Also thanks for the news clip Trolly Aux
The Blenheim/Bollingbroke project is certainly creating some interest and rightly so well done once again to the Kent Battle of Britain museum at Hawkinge..
I cant think of to many organisations who have the dedication and ability in getting this aircraft back to its former self and to transform it into an absolute legend. sure it will take a little time and above all expense but with the usual dedication of the volunteer’s and skill (they certainly have a talented workforce) they will eventually have an aircraft that will represent the story of the Bristol Blenheim.
What im most looking forward to is seeing its progress over the coming years, very exciting times for the Museum and its many visitors.
This is fantastic news the Bristol Blenheim being a true legend of the skies and an icon of the Battle.
I so cant wait to see it as it is now and witnessing its journey of rebuilding it back to its former glory.
WELL DONE TO THE KENT BATTLE OF BRITAIN MUSEUM IN THE HARD WORK IN ACQUIRING WHAT I WOULD DESCRIBE AS BEING A VERY FITTING MEMORIAL TO THOSE MEN WHO LOST THERE LIVES ON THIS ICONIC AIRCRAFT
