    Hi
I have just found this reference the Me109 F2 data plate, it’s from the on board radio set stating “other devices other than indicated above may not be used, it is located and can be seen from the rear fuselage hatch, would anyone have any images of this showing its location?

Also is there anything that can be added reference the data plate itself?

    Many thanks

    Hi
I have just Picked up this control stick at the War and Peace show this weekend.

It appears to be from a Siebel SI202 sports plane and Luftwaffe trainer that dates from 1938. would anyone have any further information in regard to its possible training roll, also would anyone have any cockpit photos that show this type of control stick.

Sorry im not quite sure why the images have loaded sideways :apologetic:

Thank you for any help in advance.

Went today’s display at Headcorn (Lashenden) thoroughly enjoyed it, Battle of Britain memorial flight was the highlight as always, with one Hurricane and 3 Spitfires taking part, then an individual display by a Spitfire and Hurricane, actually lost count how many flypasts they did which was worth the entrance fee alone, a very good turn out of spectators also.

Tiger moth displays and 2 x Harvards (Texan) displaying together at the end, in between the Buchon Me109 did a small taxi run with the Merlin at full throttle.

Started at the museum worth the visit alone with the piloted Fieseler Fi 103R-4 now on display.

Now of to treat the sun burn.
    A good day.

Would of gone but completely forgot this event, some nice stuff to be had by the looks of things.

Looking at the amount of views on this thread makes me wonder how many others may of required a reminder.

So i guess there’s no chance of pinning down whether the sight drive that i have would of fitted the Whitley or the Sunderland, bearing in mind there appears to be part numbers on my drive, or were they literally universal like previously stated.

Would there be any chance of seeing a few of the images that you have found? as there does appear to be limited on the net apart from the ones on this forum.

    Thanks again.

Thanks A.M. for the illustrations and previous thread information, (you certainly have some gems in that garage)

looking at the illustration of the turret in the first thread there certainly appears to be a difference, would anyone else know when (year) this may of been changed to the later drive? a tough question i guess.

    Hi atbl12
I have no plans for the sight drive other than to mount it with info and photos, already added the reflector sight.
As regard to the cupola frame it is merely a small section but to me means everthing as relics are my thing especially as it came with the added bonus of the history of the Wellington,(it measures around 28 inches x 15 inches)

Here are a couple of photos,

I will send you a PM ref the photos add would be very interested to see.
    thanks again Brad

But some great stuff at that and very well priced.

I was pretty much annoyed with myself for missing out on the boxed pipsqueak item that you was selling, the same person who brought the gun button managed to get hold of that also.
oh well there’s always next time.

Also pleased with the Ju88 tail wheel relic item that i purchased, as this type of item is right down my street, as rather than boxed new items never been used i prefer the relic that looks like its been there and that certainly had been.

    Hi Atbl12
Thank you for your two very detailed photos i hadn’t realised the sight drive also fitted in the FN11 was there any other types?

Also a shot in the dark but would there of been any differences in the type of sight drive for either the (FN11 and FN16 turrets) or would they of been pretty much universal.
