Nothing to do with Ryanair, they are ancient technology – high time, high cycle (remember the 737 cabriolet in Hawaii?), noisy, gas guzzling dinosaurs (and an absolute pain to fly compared to modern equipment). They are obsolete lumps of tin, nothing more – drag them off to the scrapyard!

Here we go again. The no-frills probably won’t mind. The arrogance of the man is unbelievable.

As for image, it’s not always what it seems. Would you prefer your airline captain to have a tattoo or a drink problem? That perfectly respectable Russian Captain fitted the image until he decided to let his son play with the controls. And wasn’t there a Captain who decided to commit suicide and take the aircraft and passengers with him? Certainly fitted the image there.

This is very sad news, have fond memories of Britannia, they were my first airline I flew on when I was a wee nipper. I thought there service was always top notch and there fleet was modern and very punctual.
It mentioned in the press statement that they are upgrading there fleet, any ideas on what they will be acquiring?

Good news for EGCC, just been on JET2 website and for a retuen to Budapest Saturday back on Sunday £80 for two people, might just treat the wife.

As for the pic sorry to disappoint you it isn’t me.

Well another flight looming and the bad dreams have started. Last nights was very vivid and I woke up sweating and shaking. I was on an aircraft at night and suddenly a hole appeared in the fuselage and the oxygen mask deployed. At that point, I woke up.

I know it was only a silly dream but you would think after literally hundreds of flights, I would have my fear under control. I will be OK when Im actually at the airport and on-board but the days leading up to it are always quite traumatic!
