so do flightdeck crew get offered a massage (without it sounding like a prostitution service or any other gutter level thoughts)
my lawyer who handles all my corporate contracts goes to australia every year and always flys on either the 24 or 25th of december for 3 weeks, the amount he charges me over a year he could afford to fly club/business class and put the wife in cattle class.
didnt Virgin have to stop offering inflight massages on the tokyo-london route at one point, because Japenese businessmen got the “wrong” idea on what they are offering?
wouldnt be saying that if ya won though! 😉

I can just imagine the scenario…
Hauled up in front of the AAIB – ‘so let me get this right, you landed at Zakynthos with max reverse and a required autobrake setting of * which required a Boeing mandated brake cooling period of 1 hr 15 mins. You then got out of the cockpit, poured water on the brakes and departed after 45 mins…’
Draw your own conclusions as to the wisdom!

purely from a fans pov, the RB211 is one of the best sounding engines around today 🙂
agreed there…but some of the earlier GE engines have a nice distinctive “whine” to them too
Personally I believe the E4 version of the RB211 is superb (and significantly better than the original versions). I am quite sold on the CFM56 even though they seem to run quite hot. The Trent is good however I still have a few minor issues with it which I hope will disappear with more time together.
can i ask what your minor issues with the trent are please?
