despite the uncontained failure of a RR Trent on an Edelweiss A330 departing from some place in Florida a few years back?
ahhh…..but there is method in my madness…..the orange may be garish, but hopefully waking up next to a blonde will distract me! 😉
he he he.
I’ve seen pics of their boat…. the cabins look like portaloos in bright orange…. my eyes!
Hmmm £14.99 a night on a med cruise with Easy…or a minimum of £1900 with all other cruiselines for a cabin in the engine room? 😀
Answers on a postcard please lol 😀
I don’t know, it looks a lot like the A380 to me. Not to mention, since there is only 1 double deck aircraft of this configuration it is clearly meant to imply it’s the A380.
edit: I’ve read online that the makers of the film didn’t bother consulting Airbus (probably knowing that Airbus wouldn’t be thrilled about a hijacking on their new product) so they created an aircraft very, very similar to the A380 and call it the A-474. Wow, no one will see through that vague reference. I guess Airbus is a bit miffed by the whole thing. Can’t imagine why. 🙂
A474????
[B] some creative consultant is probably payed £60,000 a year and he comes up with that?
lol, agreed.
I was taken aback last week when I saw a half orange, half white fan zoom past me with “easyTyre” on the back of it!
Stelios just branches out to make money… no MOL style loud mouth antic that lands him in court every week.
when it quietens down for me in september/october time, i might taken an easycruise 🙂
one thing i did notice…. why didnt the storekeeper who knew what size bolts were needed pipe up and tell the engineer that he was wrong?
hindsight is a wonderful thing, but unfortunatly you only get taught that when an accident happens.
good ol Stelios, another plan comes together, and shows cheap doesnt have to be poverty spec etc etc. doesnt snatch at the Ryanair/MOL bulls–t cheap pr stunts that come hurtling across the irish sea. Easyjet just gets on with business without the razzamatazz of MOL’s mouth.
Are you COMPLETELY unaware that here in the UK an Aviation White Paper was published by the Government? In the consultationm and work leading to the White Paper many options for development of airports in the UK were covered, subsequently the Government decided which schemes it felt were necessary for long term development of the airports in this country.
One part of this was that the Government supported a 3rd runway at LHR (subject to planning and environmental issues), which will be North of the existing north runway an North of the A4. If you look at http://www.dft.gov.uk you will probably find the layout as proposed for the White paper.
Well that means one hellva lot of Houses are going to be compulsary purchased for it then!
Heard it this Morning on Radio 5 live wake up to money, had the CEO of flyBE on there who was quite upbeat untill he heard the price of crude oil was going to surpass the $54 a barrel mark again
Also on the programme today…BAA announced plans for a 3rd runway and Terminal 6 at Heathrow, which will go for public/planning consultation in October.
i dont want to come over a bit thick….but where could they possibly put a 3rd runway and a Terminal 6….it all looks a little cramped on the existing site as it is…
a wet blanket of a defence minister called Geoff Hoon, or as my mate in the RAF says Geoff Buffhoon.
Listening to Col Tim Collins on the radio yesterday (former CO of the 1st battalion royal Irish Reg, who gave that speech to his men to great acclaim) defence budget cuts are a joke, if the Army could turn down the oxygen to save money it would
as to American Majors ordering the 787:-
American airlines keeps asking boeing for delays to its remaining 777 and i think 738 orders
Delta airlines is or close to chapter 11
United…We all know the story on that one chapter 11 for how many years now?
Northwest, dont know the situation there..happy with there A330’s?
heh, sounds like the UK forces.
We have guns that only work on a cool, dry day. LOL
Tanks that only like the lush green forests of western europe, desert boots that melt in anything above 66 degree’s farenheit and a light support machine gun that has a tendency of taking the gunners fingers off if he doesnt watch what he is doing…. then there is the eurofighter typhoon…. years late, over budget…………….
I for one hope that Alpha one is successful, my old mans company is based in Peterborough, but he has to travel to oxford 15-20 times a year, and he constantly b-tchs about the “trek” down there and back.
BTW, the colour scheme suits the J31 illustrated on the webpage very well
there was an incident a few months back involving a faulty fuel computer on a virgin 346, i dont think an engine or engines flamed out,but the crew made the decision to land at Amsterdam.
i dont mind waiting till 2006, give more time to developers who create add-ons etc etc, because just lately there has been alot of new releases for 2004 and i dont they would be too happy with 2006 being released this year
