The first movie was amazing, I hope the second is just as good. I love it! I thought it was going to be crap but it was top class! Good stuff!
You guys think thats bad?? Whilst I was in America two months ago I went to a WWE (formerly WWF Wrestling). At the beggining they brought out a French flag, put it in the middle of the stage and then ripped it to shredds whilst chanting ‘U.S.A’. Even though us Brits supported the war on Iraq (well, BLiar did anyway) I felt uneasy.

Britannia adopt Ryanairs cost cutting tactics by using the same engineers and mechanics.
I know FlyBE said “bringing you closer to home” but isnt that just a bit too close?
Jeanske, evidently you either have not been a pilot in command during Instrument flying or you have been but never listened to what the instructors said. I agree they should have been checking their instruments all the time (if that is what you meant) but from youre comment I take it you mean that they should be able to feel whether they are ascending or descending. One thing you learn in pilot training is: DONT TRUST YOURE INSTINCTS. To demonstrate this often instructors will blind fold the trainee and then tell them to keep the aircraft straight and level. After a minute they take the blind fold off the student and it is amazing how bad the attitudes on the instruments are after the minutes ‘instinct flying’. The plane is normally doing about a “rate 1” turn, approx 25/30 degrees, which is a lot. So, the pilots should have checked the instruments but to say that they should be able to feel if they are climbing or not is very very wrong. Not only this, but I remember the story about Eastern 401/501, cant remember, the L1011 Tristar that crashed. The pilots disengaged the autopilot by accident and failed to notice they entered a descent. This is because youre instincts wont tell you what to do when you are in the air!!
Id would love to fly the Tristar/727/A300, but in airline terms then be a pilot for BA would have to be the best to me, but any airline would do! (probably NOT Ryanair though)
Good luck mate, although I havent really got a clue what you are on about (I take it you mean with women in true life). Go get ‘er!

ATC tx to a fighter jet displaying at an airshow:
“fastjet XXX, be advised, there’s smoke coming from the back of your aircra …. ah, disregard, I see you’ve already ejected”
Tower: “Eastern 702, cleared for takeoff, contact Departure on 124.7”
Eastern 702: “Tower, Eastern 702 switching to Departure. By the way, after we lifted off we saw some kind of dead animal on the far end of the runway.”
Tower: “Continental 635, cleared for takeoff, contact Departure on 124.7.Did you copy that report from Eastern 702?”
Continental 635: “Continental 635, cleared for takeoff, roger; and yes, we copied Eastern and we’ve already notified our caterers…”
Aparently:
Found in the Malta FIR:
” Cleared to FARKA via BONAR ” …….
Its unbelievable (but I know you arent lying!) that they can get 767’s and DC-10’s into BRS. As you say Mark L, the range is limited! I often fly in and out with from BRS in a 733/734 normally and they often leave the reverse thrust on right up to the end of the runway. They must use max autobrake on a full DC-10 or 767!!!!! 😀
Well it wont be with the big heavy metals from what I know. I believe, and I say again, BELIEVE that the biggest they can get into Bristol is a 757, and thats only just. Plus there is no room to expand the current runway, so there wont be any 777’s/767’s/747’s flying from the US to Bristol (unless they build a new runway as the current one basically goes straight up to the end of a hill and then its a very big drop, and at the other end is an A road with another hill not too far away).
Uh, you guys seem unlucky (Although many would say lucky). Our college here in Taunton really isnt bothered if you dont do your homework as long as you arent really behind. Good stuff!!

Whilst I agree tottally with MM, I also agree with Martin. What are us wannabees suppossed to do??? We pay approx £60,000, just for the ATPL (F) course!!! We have to get work. However, I dont think people should blame the wannabees. If the other pilots when Ryanair hadnt worked for such poor pay and such a terrible life style then they wouldnt be able to get away with it. Because they accepted to contracts Ryanair can continue to go on like it because other airlines like BA will only hire the best, and if you arent the best then how do you get a job? Ryanair, Easyjet… thats the only option at the moment. But then again, in my opinion, if you arent the best (I dont mean academically, intelligence is not just academic) then I dont think you should be a pilot!
