Good news for United. Chicago seems to offer the most exciting destinations; the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and St Maarten.

And talking of Virgin Atlantic, I managed to fool a fellow forum member the other day with the image below. Sadly, it’s not for real!

Brilliant snaps, do you guys ever get shots of the QF birds, or do they come in at awkward time??????

I remember seeing no less than 3 Qantas 747-400s at Heathrow on Friday. Here’s my only shot of a Qantas aircraft from the day. Sorry about the state of it, it’s the only one I managed to get:

It’s VH-OJO departing for Sydney shortly before 13.00hrs as flight QF32. This aircraft arrived approximately 7 hours before. Irrelevant information, but I thought you’d like to know! 😀

Looks absolutely brilliant.

I won a United Airlines 747-200 (in the old, old colours) last night. Made by Dragon Wings and on a 1/400 scale and got it for £4.99 – brand new!

Love the Egyptair 777, very sharp! 😀
Qatar are about to announce 20 new destinations apparently.
Hopefully one will be EDI! 😀 :p

Taling of new destinations.. in Airliner World, they mentioned an Airline planning on operating flights from South Africa to London Stansted. Low cost, of course! 🙂

Most of my 6 are the same as Andy’s, although take from a very slightly different angle.. lol! 😀

We taxiied right past it in March and I was sure they had extended the tar-mac slightly. I don’t think it’s trick photography or anything like, it certainly appears to have run over into the grass.

Excellent shots again.

Someone mentioned Air Canada A330s and how many of them there are about at Heathrow, but the number of bmi A321s and British Airways A319s/A320s is ridiculous! You’d get one decent aircraft in (like a Cathay Pacific or Sinagpore 747), then you would get millions of deomstic flights arriving – yawn.

Nice shots Michael. Like the Virgin nose and Thai ones best. Great shot of the Eithad 330 too (the one i got was a big blur!)

Thanks very much for storing my models for me as well. I got a note through the door today to say that Mr. Postman tried to deliver a parcel, but nobody was in, so I have now got to wait until Tuesday! Never mind.

I haven’t made a charter flight for more than 2 years now, but I was keen on the Airtours A330 that I flew on 17 March 2002 to Jamaica. Exactly 2 years later, I was flying Thai Airways to Bangkok.

I dont think its bogus…he (Sam Chui) is a highly respected photographer and i dont think he can post bogus pics.

I was about to say exactly the same thing! He has many photographs on that site, all of a great quality. I don’t think he would want to ruin his reputation by posting something fake.
